Rustedwatermellon Funny you should ask. I blew the DRV on it a few weeks ago. Going to make a video about it soon.
Would it work to have xt60s but then a xt90 antispark for the part you plug into the Vesc? Nice video btw!
Edward Park Yes that is an option. I use the XT90 anti spark as a loop key.

how does voltage and amperage affect the board's performance? I've done some research but still slightly confused.
More voltage keeps the amperage down which results in less heat and more efficiency.

Yes. There isn't much to show it working. Just hook up the batteries, ESC, and ride.

I have eight 3 cell batteries on the way for my board that i will make two 12c batteries out of and i have no idea how i am going to recharge them all
team corally eclips quad charger can charge up to 4 6s lipos at once. its 329 euros but its a really good charger wich wont fail
can u use a xt90 cable still and get a 6s current
XT90 is just a connector, but will handle a good amount of current and works with 10AWG wire.
What range do you get with this configuration?

So should I buy 2 6s lipos or go 4 3s lipos at 500 mah thanks for any help..
All depends on the packaging. I went with 4 batteries so they could be thinner and I would have more ground clearance. The 6S 5000mah are much thicker.
Ok so you have more run time with the 4 3s vs 2 6s 5000 sorry to bother you batteries are my next step...

@Carlton Harris Sorry I never replied. Lipo fully charged @ 4.2v per cell. In series: 4x3s@5000mah=12S=50.2v@5000mah, 2X6S@5000mah=12S=50.2v@5000mah. In parallel: 4x3S@5000mah=3S4P=12.6v@20000mah, 2x6S@5000mah=6S2P=25.2v@10000mah

I haven't had any problems with it. Lots of features for tuning and controls. This one is from Ollin Board Company
Good cause I heard some people were having troubles with the enertion vesc
Philip Rossetti I have 2 enertion VESC I waited 4 months for and they have the wrong firmware and manufacturing issues. Things that can be fixed easily, but shouldn't have to be. AFAIK Ollin assembles them in house and the quality is good.

Johannes Getzner Currently I charge the 3S batteries by themselves on a dual charger two at a time. I have a BMS I will install when I get new packs.
im doing the same thing would you mind sharing some info on how you will connect the induvidial balance connectors to a single 12s connector for the BMS? im using 4 3s 8000mah turnigy flightmax lipo packs.
I want to buy new batteries before hooking up the BMS because I have been running these for a while. Haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
@@nielsreiziger4850you use first black ground from first lipo, then miss the Black ground on subsequent batteries for the BMS balance wires.

You could make a similar harness yes, but it will do different things. In series the voltages are combined. In parallel the amperage is combined.
Voltage will be the same in parallel
