I love your whole business concept and that you're supporting local Farms and vendors in your area. So, you're not relying on the traditional Restaurant vendors that everyone else uses in the area. Thanks for your great video and lovely Humility! Would you have any kind of Kiosk business model available, like a Franchise?
Using liquid nitrogen doesn't not meanI they use the same process, or result. Watch the video, Dippin' Dots are formed into little pellets, this stuff is smooth and creamy.
Sorry, I had a link that put my comment into context, but I forgot that UA-cam wouldn’t let me post it. A girl in my city drank a cocktail made with liquid nitrogen. Quite a big story here in the UK. I would argue against your branding of me as an “idiot” - but I closed a door on my own head today, so maybe you’re onto something.
So true. But it is possible to pour LN2 in your mouth without adverse effects if you do it right. I wouldn't swallow it due to it's expansion properties but I have sipped it. You can see me do it on my youtube channel.
Can you install one of those Kelvin machines in our lab? That would be great, thanks :P BTW I would hardly call 77K a little bit above absolute zero, far from it, but whatever, I want that ice cream...
I disagree. The fact that the incident happened recently and involved liquid nitrogen in the preparation consumables is enough to warrant the association of the two stories. But I agree with you that it’s bollocks to connect the physical effects of drinking pretty much pure liquid nitrogen and eating ice-cream prepared in this fashion.
I know it happened, but this video has nothing to do with that. this girl burned her stomach by the irresponsibility of the vendor and that has nothing to do with this girl showing her awesome ice cream machine.
So who was first? Smitten or I Cream? Who stole who's idea? If the idea was stolen...who was stupid enough to not patent the process? Hmmm...how many other Nitrogen ice cream shops are out there?
WTF, Bullshit. They are totaly diferent products. Dipping Dots is a DRY flash dried pellet. While this is a smooth moist Cream that is gradualy frozen. Nitrogen does not make them the same product.
there is nobody more entertaining than somebody thats passionate about what they do.

you can also add dry ice to make it fizzy
There's a place in Thailand's Siam Paragon that makes Nitrogen ice cream as well~ Had it before, and it's incredible smooth...
That's because it was a bartender using liquid nitrogen for the flair, this is someone that knows what she's doing making amazing ice cream.
I was wondering when the liquid nitrogen videos would start showing up. Awesome!
I randomly happened on this and now I have to check that place out! Very cool idea.
It's actually cheaper. Nitrogen is not expensive, and it replaces the need for many of the more expensive ingredients that go into regular ice cream.

Nice! Very great idea!
Love Smitten Ice Cream!
I live in Austin and I hope there is something like this around here!
There's a huge difference between using Liquid Nitrogen to freeze something, and actually DRINKING it.
damnit... now i have to move to SF..... THANKS A LOT smitten
Hard work, determination, and faith.
I WANT IT SO BAD! I live in sf and smitten is awesome. Luckily I'm having a bday celebration today...
I believe the function of Burping is to prevent from that happening.
Awesome story on how she got started..🤘🤘🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
All of it evaporates (cause it has a low boiling point) and then its nitrogen gas witch is 70% of the air you breathe.
I though it would be a bunch of teens messing around with liquid nitrogen but she actually bought it at a bar.
As long it well ventilated otherwise can suffocate.
Whats the difference between that and frozen custard?
Maybe he meant "The witch makes it more expensive", and he was calling her a witch.
Hi please where can I get d ice cream nitrogen machine
Wow I was wondering if it had egg in it right before Will asked the question.
The place I went to(a different business), Had cream and custard. I had custard with Dr Pepper flavouring and coconut shaving.
I thought subzero was the first nitrogen ice cream 🍦 who knows when they all say its them
STOP MAKING ME HUNGRY
i want ice cream now
Sorry, I had a link that put my comment into context, but I forgot that UA-cam wouldn’t let me post it.

It is just like CULVER'S custard.
Can you install one of those Kelvin machines in our lab? That would be great, thanks :P

great video but the audio is totally out of sync.

Pretty lady; perfect, icecream.
INVERTEBRATE Argus
Good old Julia
I think I'm... smitten...
She's a fucking superhero!
Look up the story man. It really happened. Not the ice cream specifically, but liquid nitrogen was involved.
Don't really see anything wrong with her, but I suppose we all have our own opinions.
its more like a frozen custard i bet
I know it happened, but this video has nothing to do with that. this girl burned her stomach by the irresponsibility of the vendor and that has nothing to do with this girl showing her awesome ice cream machine.

Why is it called smitten?
You will be smitten with it.
This is fucking awesome!
Uh you could say I'm smitten!
Ahueuheueuhueue
True story.
Going to the freezer now... need. ice. crem.
Home town trivia; A girl from my city lost her stomach after drinking some of the stuff last week.
she is a robot
The girl in the red hat is cute:)
The earl of sandwich would disagree.
i melt for you robyn
The other one is cuter. But both of them need to stop eating so much of the product.
I've been there it's so cool 10 out of 10 but I don't like the mint
Robyn is pretty
She's not the inventor Dippin dot's is made this way.
Who talks like this? Annnnooyying
umm umm umm umm umm umm umm umm I'm going nuts every time
@ArchimedesLockheart
they copied a la minute.
Umm
No, custard frozen with nitrogen is more like frozen custard.
I love how the idiot said "Oh okay so it's just a touch above absoloute zero?"
Says "degrees Kelvin"....all scientific credibility is now gone.
hahaha, exactly what I thought
WTF, Bullshit. They are totaly diferent products. Dipping Dots is a DRY flash dried pellet. While this is a smooth moist Cream that is gradualy frozen. Nitrogen does not make them the same product.
They actually don't use organic things anymore. Joke of a company!
I can't stand the way she talks. Great idea, unbearable inventor.
