Now all you need are Inoue's reflexes and power.
I was kind of scared by the way naoya looks in the ring. He keeps his eyes wide open and always try to find openings. He is a fucking assassin.
He said he wanted to have the mentality of a true Monster. So hes actually in there trying to kill you in his mind. You can see it in his eyes. Hes a predator
Great breakdown Gabriel! Thanks for sharing the footage from my edit. 👊
Def would've been good if gabriel gave you credit.
@@joesligo1516Yea lol
Salute boxing life
Would love more videos on naoya inoue or counters for punches. Awesome video as always and thank you!
Great video, as always!
Zhong Xina 😂
😂😂😂😂
What an amazing breakdown Gabriel, the way Inoue transitions from the hook fadeback to the uppercut is just exceptional Gabriel, I tried it at home right now and it has worked very nicely for me actually I will try using this on the bag and in sparring too as well as padwork before sparring too amazing video!🎉
make a vid on how to counter evey punch in boxing
Great idea
This would either be a 10 hour course or 1 minute tik tok, no in betweens
Boutta have fun with this one.
Inoue has the heart and warrior spirit of a samurai and the skills of a ninja!
I saw an article that said counter punching at high levels is impossible.
The conclusion was it couldn't be a reaction to seeing them punch because of the time it takes for nervous system signals to travel.
Instead, it must be reflexive. The counter is actually being thrown at the same or more wildly before the punch it is countering.
It is amazing at how important a well trained mind is. The subconscious reads cues and acts without the conscious mind ever thinking at all.
Brilliant mate
He's still regarded as #1 PFP by the majority of hardcore fans and is currently #1 in Ring Magazine ranking.
well deserved. respect for the Champ!
You'd have to be extremely fast to land a looping punch (left hook) before a straight punch (right cross).
Not if you anticipate the punch. If you anticipate that your opp will throw a 1,2 you can start throwing the hook as soon as the jab lands on your guard. Also, if you are aiming the left hook at "you opponents punch", and not on their face, just to throw them of balance (like Inoue does on the training video), your looping punch isn't on that much of a disadvantage. But yeah, this counter needs great timing, and is risky cause worst case scenario you get blasted with a cross lol
Most counters actually start being thrown at the same time or before the punch they are countering.
@@joaoramos7160 Thanks, but, aiming the left hook at my opponents punch? The surface is even smaller than my opponents face. I'd rather stick to the basics than try to emulate the absolute legends.
Great video as always! Thanks for the well of free great info!
(Also, there is a ringing sound happening from being in a small room with parallel walls - you can mitigate this by putting up some acoustic insulation or an acoustic diffuser on one or both of the walls and or ceiling!)
Floyd Mayweather voice Naoya is one helluva boxer
I love this counter. very good KO setup. won't work on someone like Bivol who always finish with the lead hand. if you try this on Bivol, you'll eat a swivel jab or left hook.
Monster Inoue p4p No1 The Best of The Best fighter in the world 🌎 today second Crawford well done 👍💯🌍👍💯🌍🌎💯🌍👍💯🌍✅
Was the last video taken down?
He's definitely become one of my favorite boxers
OMG, I've been doing that pull back left hook to counter all the time in sparring without knowing it's an actual technique, I'm glad it still works at high level LOL.
My combo is a bit different tho. I usually just throw my jab/tap out there in their face just to block vision, and bait attack, once they step forward with a jab or cross (doesn't matter), I took a step back, leaning and throw at left hook counter at the same time, I know my posture is awkward, but hey it landed, then circle get the heck out of it instead of step back in for upper cut like Inoue.
Now Karate inside blocks work. lol
It's always like that, shit that doesn't work ends up working because people understand it more.
この人も、ふくらはぎが発達している。🤩
is that a Chinese poster, have you been fought in China?
So inoue is kinda trapping like in Wing chun redirecting and deflecting his opponents shots
Copycats will not be as good. Just like Bruce Lee who taught many but nobody is as good 😂😂😂
true. they all have god given body and ability
