- Just a quick spin on a back road. Filmed on a go pro hero 3 running a splitter cable with two external mics one to turbo inlet and one to exhaust works a treat!!!

Randomly scrolling through youtube vids and suddenly realise this is a road i drive on! Can't wait for my z to arrive from NZ so i can go for a blast myself.
I know that road well, used to take my Evo IV out for late night blasts up & down there & around Avebury & Cherhill.
This is using the external dagee mic from deal extreme with a skeleton housing a y splitter 2 x 2 meter extensions then the clips that are provided with the microphones clipped to the bumper and the air intake with provided wind socks
What kind of exhaust manifold is that

jookdizzle I might just have to buy a new mic, my current setup in my R32 sounds really muffled in car as it's not very loud and it can't handle being near the intake or exhaust due to clipping.
jookdizzle wait, so you're audio is being sourced from two separate microphones/places and they are simply combined via the splitter? I would've thought there would be echoing but i guess since it's all comes to a single system then there wouldn't be echo... so it's like you have a hugeeee microphone then

Defo Defo hello, this is the standard turbo to achieve this sound you must remove the blow off valve completely. The car is now sold look out for videos of the new car 😬

Its a great car fantastic on b-roads I would make your biggest concentration handling modifications mine is on HSD MONOPROS and really handles well with adjustable tie rod ends and rear camber arms it's also got a cusco 2 way diff which helps a bit to

What kind of mic were you using ? I know you probably answered the question already but cant find it
I hate how I hear nothing but intake in one ear and exhaust in the other. Anyways, pretty neat.

I think it's better with one in each ear, but if you wanted to merge it you could just change it from stereo to mono, just merge the two audio tracks into one and both sides should get both sounds
I think it's pretty cool . When you want turbo sounds take the left one when you want engine screaming take the right one. But damn 1jz sounds like gold 😍😍😍

@@smokeyhouseproductions damn you can still import them automatic for a decent price then mt swap it. There was a automatic mark2 that just sold on the yahoo auction in japana for 11k. Was just looking at selling my 110 mark2 for 15k auto.. one just sold this much the other week in my city locally. Then just import another one for 8k cad and sell it again for 15k and buy a 100 manual. hahah.

Everett Ridgeway absolutely no issues at all my previous car ran like it for 5 years do not get dragged into the shit the internet mechanics tell you. Running no bov is absolutely fine.

@@thedpfteam2423 no this was a standard ct15b running 1 bar of boost the car is still running this turbo to this day no issues. Turbo flutter doesn't kill turbos. Compressor surge does and this is not compressor surge just people aren't educated. 👍 worth noting this was a year into my ownership so the turbo has been ran like this for about 7/8 years now 😂
