I came across Jet Tila for the first time. It so happen that I had a ribeye steak and broccoli. I cut the steak very thin and did exactly what I saw the video. It turned out so delicious that my husband was so impressed he wanted me to make it again the week after. Thanks Jet Tila . Great, yet simple recipe!

I made this yesterday. My husband says he could eat it 5 days a week! I used piece of tri tip marinated 6 hours in the fridge in an Asian marinade I found online before making the recipe. I like that the broccoli is blanched in a pot of water instead of stir fried in the pan. You can get that bite just right.

Made this tonight for dinner and used almost 2 pounds of beef and broccoli. Added 3 green onions at the end. Also, I didn’t use all the sauce because I doubled the amount of marinade for the meat. It was tasty as is, for our taste. I spooned some of the sauce, didn’t need all of it, I now have enough for another time!! Try it it’s delicious!! Thanks chef 😙🙏🏽

    • @aarongentile7232

The last person I just watched making the same recipe used flank steak due to it not having a lot of fat. Flank steak is very tasty (one of my favorite types of steak) but it's definitely not cheap. I didn't catch if he used baking soda in his recipe which would help tenderize a tough cut of beef. I'm about to use a "nice" cut beef (that's what was in the fridge) which is part of a porterhouse steak. it's def not required to use an expensive cut of meat because cheaper meat with more fat typically has more flavor (fat = flavor) and then use baking soda to tenderize. I guess what I'm trying to get at is you can use basically any type of beef you want! Use what you like, and what you have on hand or can get or can afford or your neighbor has or want to try. Good luck! Hopefully jet will answer your question someday soon but for now there's my answer so you have one.
