I came across Jet Tila for the first time. It so happen that I had a ribeye steak and broccoli. I cut the steak very thin and did exactly what I saw the video. It turned out so delicious that my husband was so impressed he wanted me to make it again the week after. Thanks Jet Tila . Great, yet simple recipe!
I made this yesterday. My husband says he could eat it 5 days a week! I used piece of tri tip marinated 6 hours in the fridge in an Asian marinade I found online before making the recipe. I like that the broccoli is blanched in a pot of water instead of stir fried in the pan. You can get that bite just right.
This was delicious! made this recipe this evening for my family for dinner. You know when no one talks in the dinner table it means the food was darn good. Thanks chef Tila . 💯👍🙂
Hello Jet, I was looking for a good beef and broccoli Chinese recipe, I saw your and I gave it a try. Fortunately I had most of the ingredients 😅. The taste was great, so delicious, my husband congratulated me 😁, thank you again.(although I had to guess the amount)
Made this tonight for dinner and used almost 2 pounds of beef and broccoli. Added 3 green onions at the end. Also, I didn’t use all the sauce because I doubled the amount of marinade for the meat. It was tasty as is, for our taste. I spooned some of the sauce, didn’t need all of it, I now have enough for another time!! Try it it’s delicious!! Thanks chef 😙🙏🏽
This is the best beef n broccoli! Thank you. Very easy to follow. The beef was so very tender and flavorful! I got the brand of oyster sauce you recommended. Awesome! Thank you. 😊
Great recipe. I added onions to the recipe Served this at a dinner party, got rave after rave. Of course I gave credit to Jet for the recipe. The meal wad a success, thank you!
Question about marinate. I will cook on Friday but can I marinate on Wednesday with baking soda and all your ingredients. Will the beef will shredded type Or perfect
Sir, thank you for these wonderful recipe. Everything came out so delicious. I am so happy I found this video. Could you please do a recipe for crab in oyster sauce.? Thank you.
Oyster sauce changed our life while cooking these dishes at home! So did googling Chinese market in our area and lol we have one right around the corner.
Thank you for sharing, Jeff! This went great with Uncle Rogers egg fried rice. Thumbs up all around the dinner table and requested to add to the menu. I look forward to trying out how to make Pho lol.
I LOVE your style. You were elegant yet simple with your dish. Beef and Broccoli is one of my staple dishes when I order out even though I can get very adventurous with my selections. Kudos on the sauce. Kind wishes.

Chef Tiila l like watching u and Ming S cooking show on MPT. I don't know how to cook but I make some times my own Chinese food. With left over meat and oddles of noodles and vegetables onion and boil egg. Baltimore md
Never know Jet Tilla!! Nice I’m going to try your recipe right now! I like the way your explanation and of course the steps! I use the same ingredients !! So, I’m not Asian but J appreciate culinary world !! Thank you from Brazil 🇧🇷
I made this tonight but I didn’t have cornstarch so I used flour and I didn’t have Chinese white wine so I used white wine vinegar and boy oh boy my husband scraped his plate I paired it with white rice and eggs rolls 😋
The last person I just watched making the same recipe used flank steak due to it not having a lot of fat. Flank steak is very tasty (one of my favorite types of steak) but it's definitely not cheap. I didn't catch if he used baking soda in his recipe which would help tenderize a tough cut of beef. I'm about to use a "nice" cut beef (that's what was in the fridge) which is part of a porterhouse steak. it's def not required to use an expensive cut of meat because cheaper meat with more fat typically has more flavor (fat = flavor) and then use baking soda to tenderize. I guess what I'm trying to get at is you can use basically any type of beef you want! Use what you like, and what you have on hand or can get or can afford or your neighbor has or want to try. Good luck! Hopefully jet will answer your question someday soon but for now there's my answer so you have one.

scallion, for garnish (optional)
microgreens, for garnish (optional)

1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Cooking Soy Sauce

Looks yummy..... but did he just move the rice from one bowl to another bowl?
420FreedomFighter yup- from one bowl to another slightly larger bowl! Lol
Nope. The rice was originally in a non-stick pan and he moved it to a bowl for plating.
@@albertledesma5173 look at the bottom its a bowl not a pan
Lol
@@albertledesma5173 lol, bachelor style, just eat straight out of that pot. One less dish

What cut of beef?
Where do you acquire the soy sauce I looked all over and it didn’t even seem as though Amazon had it ?
Do you interchange sesame oil and toasted sesame oil? Most recipes seem to call for toasted sesame oil...
It came out great! I over did it on the sesame oil sooo b careful there!
