It's not the most exciting photo I've ever taken, but setups like these are great for honing your skills. Who wants to give it a try?

I just purchased my first macro lens and this would be a great set up for me to start off with. The set up seems simple and your explanation of each step (especially stacking) is detailed and easy to follow. Thank you!

Excellent video Andrew and thank you for sharing these tips. I'll have to drag my Sigma 105 out of the cupboard and give it a try 🙂

Simple yet complex. I like your enthusiasm, it's obvious that you enjoy taking and editing photos. I might be wrong, but I don't think you know how good of a teacher you are. You inspired me with your enthusiasm and your simple and direct way of showing the process of achieving this cool shot. Thank you :)

Great video to show me the sort of changes you can make but I need to learn a lot before I'd be able to follow what you did when editing. Thanks.

There's been a great deal of focus on lighting in your last 2 videos. Thanks for the tips!

Very instructive, as always, Andrew :) BTW, where can I get that ad200 diffuser? Thanks.

Thanks so much! The diffuser I used here was the MagMod MagSphere -- MagMod do a range of flash diffusers that just attach with magnets so are really quick to use!

Hey Andrew! Loved this video! Do you think it's possible to achieve same results with just a telephoto lens?

Thanks Jeanie! It depends on how close you can focus with your telephoto lens. It's potentially possible, but I can't say without testing whether it would be the 'same' or maybe just 'similar'. Give it a try if you have a telephoto and see what happens!
