@@YourGeekFix It's a golden age for making. I remember modding PC cases 20 years ago. How would you engrave a side window? You put a printout behind it and went at it with a Dremel. And that is also how it looked like afterwards.. Now i can get SMD components and PCB's directly from china, i can have every kind of industrial production machine on my desktop.
I have this model for over two years and have not have any issues. Great laser for the price and highly recommend Longer3d lasers. Just had some issues with an Atezr L2 24w laser that was purchased by the company I work for before I started working there. It stopped worked after a few months (Mother board issue) so after terrible customer service exchange with Atezr, I had my manager buy a LongerB1 24W laser and so far so good with that model. I feel there is risk with most of these diode lasers but it comes down to if the company supports their products when issues do arise. From what I can tell it's all a bit of a crap shoot with all the laser manufactures unfortunately. I like that fact that Longer lasers don't upgrade new models every 6 months which is an advantage as they seem to focus on making it right and working out bugs rather than having the latest bells and whistles that lure most. Either way do your research before buying a new diode laser. Diode lasers are fun tools that open up the doors to many creative possibilities at a pretty reasonable price.
Yeah I was expecting to see the new cover at the end of the video like you said I guess you you did it later anyway it looked nice I just wish I could have got to see it doing it@@YourGeekFix
Might be ok if they ever ship to me been waiting on mine for a while but I am not impressed by the company no customer service support from them but I am giving them another shot last shot for longer from me
I will need a laser in time to cut the leather for the Mecha Glove. It's nice to see that they come down in price more and more. I would also want one where i can use the software that i want. I missed the premiere with you two over dinner.. I'm printing a part of the Ghostbuster lamp in the background. I want to see how much LED's i need to light up the ghost. Vinz? Do you want to see a work in progress?
Wanted to ask, im considering getting a diode laser to work with. For someone with little to no workspace room, is a laser likr this safe to use in a bedroom?
This is proof I was right about what I said a year ago. Cutters are becoming more affordable and advanced.
This is like saying that gas prices will go up. Who would bet against that? 😆
@@seelenschlucht true! In year my 1000+ cutter can't compete with the 200.

@@seelenschlucht I agree. Everyone has maker tools these days.

They had a sale on the 5W version a few weeks ago, picked it up for $120.
Very good!
Well that's cool I look forward to the end of the video seeing how it turns out
Thanks.
The picture in the thumb last night I did after editing. Need to try again to get it blacker for November

I used my cutters more than I ever thought.

Yes. Easy to store. Just better you are not in the room when it is cutting.
