    Lyrics:
Hey, I got rivals trying to bury me
All my enemies want to see the end of me
They see me rising up, and they can't stand to see that side of me
They hate on everything I do, while they're stuck in mediocrity
They wanna sabotage my vision, it's plain to see
They want to pull the plug, watch my empire fall
They can't handle my success, so they want to end it all
They think they can destroy me, but I won't let them be the death of me
They think they can destroy me, but I won't let them be the death of me
They say you can't do this, you can't do that
Bla bla bla, they're always running their mouth
Trying to hold me back, with their endless doubt
But I don't give a fuck, I'll tune them out
It's all manipulation, they want to control
My every move, my every thought
They fear what I might achieve, if I break free
    From their lies and limitations,
    That they place on me
    They're threatened by my energy
They're trying to be the death of me
    They're threatened by my energy
They're trying to be the death of me
they want to see me six feet deep
But I won't go down easy,
So come after me with everything you got
Think you're so tough until you'll realise you're not
But I'm unbreakable, unstoppable, I'm a force to be reckoned with
I'll keep on pushing, keep on hustling, 'til my name is etched in myth
    (You bitches ain't shit)
    (You bitches ain't shit)
    Fuck you
They're out there trying to bury me
Because they hate the success they see
They can't stand the fact that I'm living my dreams
    (I'm free)
    (I'm free)
    (I'm free)

Adam, the contrasting female vocals are excellent to hear. You know, I've listened to every category in music over the decades, but the music industry has started to call your type of music as Goth-Grunge, Goth-Hop, and Goth-Metal. I think that by categorizing anything darker sounding, like "Dark-wave" is hugely misleading to many people who can't tell the difference. The listening audience will always find the music that appeals to themselves, because one of my motto's is:
"Great music ― is just that, because it's ― Great music"
Excellent work and it's far better, than plain old 'Dark-wave' music.

Thanks for your kind words. I feel you on the whole categorization thing. They love slapping all kinds of labels on anything with a darker vibe these days. "Goth-Grunge", "Trap Goth", "Dark-Synth Metal"... it's hard to keep up! While those tags can point listeners in a general direction, they definitely don't paint the full picture. Especially if you like to blend genres.
I'm with you on that. At the end of the day, music is music, period. People connect with what resonates with them. It's not about fitting neatly into some pre-defined box.
Means a ton that my music is resonating and that it hits harder than your average 'Dark-wave' stuff. Glad it's finding its way to the right ears.
I'm sitting on about 200 unreleased songs so more to come!
