Interesting for such a large Catamaran that the single helm station is so far aft and at such a low level / deck level.
Michael Douglas the whole saloon is wrapped glass, so the visibilty should be given thru the boat even to the opposite bow.
they can build other where the helm on top .

A helm station should be up on either or both sides (no fly bridge, please). Don't these "designers" look around at successful CAT-designs??? Ideas one gets from looking around, not dreaming something up, that is impractical.
And there will be condition where seeing through windows is harder, I would not like to steer this bad conditions and not forgetting where there is a lot of traffic

A Charter boat for sure, exposed helms don't work on long passages and not enough hatches for life without Air Conditioning in the tropics.
This looks like the most uncomfortable catamaran I’ve seen yet.

Nice wood work, good heads (except the wet one), great galley. But overall, this is a great example of how to turn a large cat into many tight spaces. And it doesn't seem practical to sail, with those strangely positioned helms and winches all disperse. With that kind of money, you can buy 2 Lagoon 450S, rent one and finance the other...
There should be a category called "yacht tour music".

Why do so many manufacturers put the helm(s) in a position that you can’t be protected from the weather or waves breaking over the boat? This alone would cause me not to buy one.

Thanks for these videos, it's not a complete walk-through, but close enough to know which I wont waste time for a visit. OC60=scratched, Very poor design and more than double the price of better cats.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Do you know where the engine rooms are? I suspect they are midship for weight distribution, but it’s hard to see where.

Catamaran Channel: thanks for resolving that. Actually, there are some cats that have the engines midship, e.g. Antares 44, Chris White’s Atlantic 47 and M&M 50 “Shooting Star”. Once again, thanks for taking the trouble to film these for us and respond to queries.
The first OC60 had its engines midships.

I think this is the first big Cat that I'm not liking. The build quality looks awesome. Nice and solid. But the layout just isn't doing it for me. I think maybe the boat needs to be a few feet wider so the rooms and hallways don't have that scrunched up feeling. But the materials used to make it look top notch. Very sturdy. And I don't like the bunk beds on the starboard side. For some reason I feel that space could be put to a better use.
if space is what you want, buy a damn lagoon and go sailing at a portuguese man o war's pace.

well these are boats not houses. @@Buses2Bikes well these are boats designed for safety and speed and the ability to outrun approaching weather, if comfort is what you want, then buy a house, or charter something in the bvi's.

Yeah, nowhere near enough space for a 60 footer costing near $4M. Bad design and not enough of everything. Washer dryer? Engines? Water fuel capacity?
Maybe look into a Lagoon or something designed more for the leisure crowd who isn't interested in speed. This yacht is more geared towards those who value speed over comfort.
Interestingly they don't quote weight on the spec sheet.

Helms are far too exposed for a luxury cat not even a hint of protection, I was waiting for an interior station, I’m still here!
Maybe there next model will have that, but im not sure.
With cats that are build for speed, sonetimes you see different designed helmstations.
Like outremer or nautitech, more outside without cover.

Is it an aluminum cat?
Most of it is carbon, hence the high price.
@@CatamaranChannel most of this boat is glass, with some carbon fiber reinforced areas, like under the cleats and padeyes. The only thing that was aluminum was the boom.
Those helm stations are horrendous....
A Privilege cat of the same size has way better accommodations than this ! Besides, the Sunreef 60 cat is way better from just about every point of view you can think.of and it costs just about the same.
My favorite luxury sailing cat is the Sunreef 80 and in the performance designs I’ll go for McConaghy MC60 and MC80, and Sunreef 80 Carbon because Gunboat is just insanely expensive, but I would rather have the luxury and comfort than the performance which comes with very limited to non existent comfort and the insane noise of a non insulated cramped up carbon fiber hull which sounds like a drum when slamming the waves.
The Sunreef 80 has the highest bridge deck clearance off of the water I ever seen and I think that in that cat you’ll never experience the violent shaking and the horrible noise of waves slamming into the bridge deck. Besides that, that cat is heavily insulated and has a level of comfort almost never seen in any other sailing catamaran. Privilege cats are known for high level of high density luxury and comfort also.
Guys, stop complaining, it is a good example that money could be wasted.

Even though the boat may be fast, this is not worth 3.6 million... If I get a CAT, I want space! This has not space.

Poor video, nothing of the outside as in seeing what it looks like as a whole. Video shows everything way to close up. Imagine a car video and you stand 4 feet from body and pan the paint!
Sorry, great boat but the pace of the video was soo slooow. The panning took forever. I found myself scrolling ahead because I couldn't take it anymore. Had you sped up the pace you could have showed us the engine room and crew quarters if the boat had them. There is a yacht dealer online and he doesn't have music on his videos he just gives you a quick tour the boat shows you what's what and shows you everything including crew quarters and engine rooms. No muss no fuss oh, and no God awful music just him explaining what you're seeing. Again, I'm not knocking the boat oh, it's a beautiful yacht, I'm sure it's worth every penny. It's just the video was brutal to sit through

You are crazy people guys... Really 3.6 for what? All of your competitors twice chipper. Lagoon, Sunreef... I feel like you just missed with numbers of zero in your price. Crazy design for 60 feet cat for this price. It is fail
This yacht isnt competing with Lagoon and Sunreef. Those yachts are plush, but very very slow. This yacht is designed for speed, and that means lighter and much more expensive materials, hence the price tag.

It's a really dumb layout.
They've traded the view from the saloon, space in the saloon, space on the aft deck and storage space forwards to have a useless forward cockpit (because it's missing a wheel and some of the lines) and the universally hated outboard helms.
My gox, why put the helms on the boat... there's plenty of space on land! I cannot understand those "so-called" designers! The helm should be up, so one can see where she/he is going). Well, the lines are nice, but this is not for sailing in the high-or low latitudes!
Have you ever been on a sailing vessel? Stick to dreaming about power boats. Up high, you say? So you can see sails in front of your face? The "so-called" designer, as you ignorantly say, is Frers. One of the most successful navel architects of all time. This is a boat designed for sailing long distance, not for partying.
