I've been disappointed in every other catamaran once i found out about the Privilege interior desing especially the master. It's alot smaller than this boat, but the indoor feels bigger.

With a big cat like that, you should have an Expandacraft modular boat of some kind on board. Expandacraft is a modular multihull which fits in small spaces and can transform into all sorts of watercraft. Row, paddle, paddle, sail or motor, it's like the Lego of boats

What is with the twin hand basins in bathrooms? Who wants to watch their partner, or one night stand, clean their teeth and spit, or wash their hands after taking a dump behind you while you clean your teeth.
Right? I've never understood this. Some designer once upon a time decided that master baths need his/hers sinks and it stuck. I disagree with it completely. Rarely have my ex-wife/GF and I been using the sink at the same time. It happens, but you wait a minute or two and that's that.

I had a Sunreef 60, I'm going to keep its name out of the comments for privacy reasons.
I sold it June of 2017, one of the happiest time of my life, at 400 thousand dollars in losses.

its heavy,
its slow,
its expensive,
its not well designed,
its not well built.
my past sun reef is in San Diego, the new family who bought it now just leave it in its slip.
Yup, seams inline with the other experiences I have heard from Sunreef boats. They look good, but thats about it.
Do you know a comparable boat of this size? I can't afford one right now, but I would love to have a Catamaran with around 70 feet that can also be sailed by two people and has the ability to carry a strong tender and jetski. It should be fast, solid and modern.
you and i are on the same page.
here is what i have done so far:
i have a 2016 Outremer 51, with reverse water piercing bow.
i find that overall weight is the single biggest limitation to water speed on a sailing cat. my 51 weights at 31000 lb (actual weight on shipyard lift with water and fuel, not the advertised fake weight) and it easily cruise around 9 - 10 kt (no surfing, purely water speed, surfing speed is also fake speed because if the waves are moving at 10 kt then a simple drift wood will surf faster than a lagoon 45, that's not fair.), then when you go offshore with surfing you will travel around 13 to 14 kt on a constant bases (assuming wind is at least 17 kt+ from the sides or behind)
Outremer go up wind well, true wind can come from 60, apparent wind 40 degrees and the boat goes 9 - 10 kt (17+ true wind is mandatory of course). i can stretch it to pointing 30 degrees apparent but boat speed will drop to 7-8 kt.
my rigger and sail maker actually sailed her at 14.2 kt and for 5 minutes or so we had 22-24 kt true wind and we sailed at 15.3 kt, on an EMPTY boat, water tank empty, fuel almost empty, no tender, storage all cleared out.
don't believe the 20+ kt boat speed videos on internet, they are surfing, ive surfed at 26 kt gps speed but that measn little when you do 24 hour average, the best i can average in 12 hours is still 10.5 kt.
problems:
very small accommodations, you wont be able to carry BOTH tender and jetski, you will have to choose one. I'm taking the jetski.
i upgraded to lithium batteries plus watt and sea hydro generator.
price tag of this set up : about 1.2m
the next step up is HH catamarans, priced around 2.7-3m, you will get a full carbon 55 feet, with big rooms and carry a jetski and rumors are it can cruise consistently at 16ish kt.
next step up is a 60 feet gunboat, that will cost 5.5 - 6m at least.......
so you see the length of the boat didn't increase all that much but the price just keep doubling.
when you get past 60 feet you wont single hand it realistically, keep it under 60 even if you can afford bigger.
Thank you very much for your response! When I used to be a kid I was invited to my uncle's Sunseeker Manhattan 84 twice. He used to have a few boats up to 30 meters and offered them for charter, in the end they costed him a fortune. Nevertheless it was the best experience of my life, since then I have been crazy for yachts!
The Outremer 51 is a dream of a boat for a very fair price in my opinion! I love to watch "sailing la vagabonde", they have an Outremer 45 which is also pretty cool.

During San Diego Comic Con last summer my son and I stayed a few slips away from a Sunreef. I think thyre stunning but I've not sailed on one.

Well, first, don't do it to your Sunreef 74. And second, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? 99% of Sunreef production goes to charter companies. Finding a second-hand Sunreef that wasn't chartered all its life is harder than marrying a three-legged balerina.
The flicker in the bathroom is from the video cycle rate being in conflict with the cycle rate of the lighting. A professional would know that and avoid it. Probably also find a way to avoid showing the camera guy in reflections all over the boat. What a waste of time and effort
