@@gabrielhoward5601I’ll be honest, as a Team Ninja Fan the graphics and animations do not feel as smooth, fluid, or fleshed out as Nioh 2 Remastered…They have yet to touch the quality of their PS4 game polished for the PS5 despite Rise of Ronin being a PS5 title. I remember thinking “wow…Nioh 3 is going to look insanely beautiful and awesome”. Then Stranger of Paradise released…then Wo Long…now this. Combat is almost as good as Nioh 2, tasty af and miles better than Wo Long, but overall the graphics are rough for $70. @christopheryanez That's a fair point, funny you say that as I actually tried Nioh 2 after a 6 month hiatus due to not being able to beat a boss in that game. It finally clicked and I beat the boss and progressed further, same woth Wo Long. The mechanics started to click with me. But yes Nioh 2 definitely looks better and is more polished. @@gabrielhoward5601 yeah graphics look about as good as Elden Ring, which is pretty underwhelming for a PS5 exclusive since the art design here is not as good as Fromsoft either. I don't really play modern Team Ninja or Fromsoft games for their graphics and I'd rather take good gameplay at 60 FPS with late PS4 era graphics over extremely good looking graphics at a variable 30fps. My opinion is probably the minority since PS5 loves to have games with extremely good graphics to the point where the game is almost an interactive movie in how much you play vs watch, but Team Ninja should at least make their next game match the standard of graphics to the current gen while not compromising or distracting from gameplay.

I LOVE the combat in this game. And going back to Sekiro after actually made me SOO much better. lol. I will say one thing that keeps it from being better is the forced delay between deflections I understand it’s to promote players to watch and understand combos better, only deflecting the last or most important strikes. But it just feels bad when you’re trying to deflect a combo and it’s just straight up IMPOSSIBLE because you’re still in the 1st deflect animation for FAR too long It also makes it to where deflecting multiple strikes just isn’t viable, which doesn’t seem right or feel good. Other than that I LOVE this game and the combat is definitely one of the best Samurai/Ninja games I have EVER played 👍👍👍
Sekiro has half a second parry window that is just too good. Note that the counterspark straight but tells you that you really shouldn't try to counter everything and that blocking and dodging are options and indeed the dodges in this game are good with weapons and stances having unique rolls. Countering everything is possible but given the insane amount of stances and combos you can't parry everything unless you are true master and familiar with the like 30-40 stances of the game.
U won't stuck in the animation, I can deflect even like crazy 8-10hit combo . Also u don't stuck in attack or heal animation either , u can cancel them any given moment .
@@caoslayersomehow I don't think of blocking while fighting , trying parry everytime . As for dodges , those are working against regular enemies but against bosses not so much , cause of their long combos , they can reach u to the moon and back and dodging just depletes your KI .
