Hi Lauren, thank you for another informative and beautifully made video. The sad part is, I have been through this town twice 25 or so years ago, (while driving from Hof/Saale to Wurzburg), but never took the time to stop and look around. I hope to get another opportunity on a future visit to Germany. All the best, Peter.
I was exactly the same until I started this channel! Often, we are focused on where we need to be. It’s not always possible to make stops, but wonderful when it works out like this!
It's not architects that shaped these buildings and therefore towns but the Handwerker and the system they used for training and organising. Architektur is a fairly new profession (think paladian buildings). It's so damn interesting! (Goodness... no idea what happend when I typed that sentence for the first time. Sorry)
Ah! So probably they trained with a master and moved on to different towns after that? Or the master moved like the Schreiner? Yes, I would love to know more. One day I should do a kind of comparison video, where I could show similar buildings from different towns. And maybe find out why that happened in those cases. Palladian- I have to look that up. Thanks, Sisu! Ps I didn’t see any autotype thing.
Dear Lauren! I follow the channel of a young swedish artist who lives and works in the north of Sweden. Her talent to bring the loveliest "human" and philosophical content to the people, together with a great eye for filming the beautiful landscape and putting all together with beautiful and special music in high quality always reminds me of your channel, your videos, your beautiful skills and how they come together. The swedish artist was honored by the King of Sweden for her special work and talent of showing the outstanding beauty of Sweden to the world, and she won a price gifted by the King. She`s now able to build up her art business much easier and spend the money on her projects and life in the wilderness of Sweden. That sounds fairytalelike, doesn`t it! 🙂 But who would give you (!) the price for what you are doing here to show people the beauty of Germany! I know there are some more people who do videos about the country and its Sehenswürdigkeiten, they are mostly travelers or just interested in architecture or history or they renovate a historical building. Their content is also interesting and nice, but: Until today I never found such art and taste together with the content like in your creations. It is all melted into one multi layered expression, and although the videos are of the shorter kind, one immediately sinks into its magic and beauty from the very first second. Every single piece feels as if there is a fairytale told to us. Germany in parts is so very pragmatic, and our art life often feels quite separated from the "rest", it functions quite isolated, it ´s a world on its own, music, painting, singing, dancing, acting. And many people seem not to engage with it very regularly or never. So "art" in all its different faces often stays unknown to the most, and "honoring" it mostly takes place in more private locations and by organisations which most people are not interested in or do not even know what they are and what they are doing. But you clearly could win a price and be honored for the way in which you show people the beauty and magic of a county - it is not even yours! Just want to say, if I were the Queen of Germany I would love to give you a price for your work! 🙂 As someone who never had a channel and does not know anything about YTs "mechanisms" I have a question. I often think about the commercials in the videos; does it help somehow if we as your viewers let those commercials run through without skipping them? This might be a silly question but I am thinking about how much and in which way the owners of the channels could benefit most from the commercials. I stopped skipping them in your videos and take that small amount of time to let it run until the end, and I hope that there is any benefit for you. Is it - or not? 🤔🥰
This is so very kind of you. I just read a really hateful comment and this has made me feel so much better. I know who you are referring to and it is such an honour and motivation that you compared me to her in this way. I so often think I should stop as it´s so much work, and I still have not earned more than I have put in. But I love to create the videos and give people the experience they seem to have watching them. I would miss that - I´m sure you understand, as an author. It does help to let the ads run as we earn money for the amount of exposure an advertisement gets, so thank you!
@@LaureninGermany Great to know! Well, these advertisements will always have my biggest attention, haha! 😀 Yes, I meant it as I said: It is totally comparable, especially in all talents and gifts which you both, from my view, have in common: Creativity in presentation and artistic talents, beaming and lovely personality and charme, a fantastic eye for light and beauty, scenery and surrounding, great taste of music, atmosphere and mood, voice and art of speaking, love for people, nature, the wonders of a "normal" day and moment and of letting the audience take part in what you feel and see. Please just go on as much as your power and energy reaches, and never stop, it will grow! The time is perfectly right now for such things, you are giving great positive impact to the world, much more than you believe. There are those points where things suddenly make bigger "jumps", where avalanches develop from a handful of snow. Those "jumps" ly on the route of everything good, they will happen to us when we don`t give up. I do not only believe that there`s always two values and things to gain ifrom artful productivity, money and also ideal value - I deeply believe that if we do it from our very heart and soul by time there also will come more money from it. Because people can sense if something has a higher value or if it is just a "product". My brother (a merchant with own service business) once told me that writing would be no good tool to earn money once we count all the hours we invest and what we get from it: in the first years nearly nothing and later maybe some cents for thousands of hours we spent on it. He made the calculation for me to show me that I better should focus on something which brings me "money per hour" at once, continually and without risks of "crisis" here and there. What I took home that day wasn`t just a "but I love to write!!), but: "So from his perspective he`s right, but he left the most important things out in his calculation: My talent in storytelling, the big potential that lies in it and: the need of the people to get the story, the inspiration, the love, the joy, the surprise, the fantasy, the healing. So my stories only became much more creative and loving and healing than they already were, that`s what I got from that frustrating conversation. 🙂We will see what will come from my work. I am on my way, expecting avalanches. Don`t you ever listen to anybody who does not get what you are doing or where your fire burns! In a material world material things can happen. In spheres where energetic things (like love, joy, comfort, connection etc.) work and grow literally everything can happen, also money. Just go on and give your very best like you do!
About guys who try to hurt and destroy people, best efforts and lovely things: There are so many people in this world who lack love, respect and attention - some of them get crazy when they see a person who seems ro have what they might never get or have lost: a great idea, an audience, attention, beauty in themselves and in what they do, radiating love and warmth, being with wonderful people, working on beautiful things, visiting beautiful places, being able to feel love and joy for life and the world. It always is so much about themselves when they spread some poison onto somebody they even do not know. You absolutely know there is nothing to hate or criticize in what or how you do what you do. It just hurts people unintentionally when they lack the things you are showing and offering so very badly inside themselves and in their own life. So in the end all that remains is ... compassion. Tell them that you feel the most sincere compassion for them because of the bitterness they seem to carry. Nothing more or else, just this.
@@LaureninGermany Haha, it`s absolutely okay, and I will! :`D I am just happy if I can "stabilize" and comfort you just a bit, don`t worry so much, you are doing wonderful! It is all about energy and balance, and there are many things, words or people which can pull us under water from time to time, and that costs our energy so badly every time. Find an attitude, an "inner place" where nothing and nobody can hurt you so easily - train to go there, again and again, until it becomes a familiar, a trusted place. And develop emotional strategies to recover fast when something or someone has hit you in a weak moment. We only can manage to do so and so much, we have our energetic limitations and must care for our health and energies. We only can go on with so much work when we build ourselves up as "unkaputtbar" as possible. Feeling compassion with people who try to hurt and deminish us or be in our way is a kind of self love because when we start to get used to do so, our fear and selfdoupt which hinder us to be more successful will be so much reduced - while we leave the "dirt" which is thrown at us where it grew. It has nothing to do with us. It is just an expression of what goes wrong with the other person. Because we surely can not like what another person does, BUT there is no need to throw it right into the other`s face, that`s a decision - and behind it there is the deeper reason, and this always lies inside ourselves, not in the person whose stuff we don`t like. When thinking about how vulnerable we are always exposing ourselves so very open in front of the people and the world: It is not stupid nor silly or thoughtless to do so. It is what most people would never dare, it is brave. You MUST be one of those strong and brave people, because you do it all the time. ;-) So be proud and unkaputtbar - and do not forget to feel honest compassion with the ones who have some "issues" with you! :`D Have a lovely week!

As someone who never had a channel and does not know anything about YTs "mechanisms" I have a question.
Yes, I meant it as I said: It is totally comparable, especially in all talents and gifts which you both, from my view, have in common: Creativity in presentation and artistic talents, beaming and lovely personality and charme, a fantastic eye for light and beauty, scenery and surrounding, great taste of music, atmosphere and mood, voice and art of speaking, love for people, nature, the wonders of a "normal" day and moment and of letting the audience take part in what you feel and see.
Dear Shadow Hall, I always am lost for words to reply to you. Your words move me deeply and I treasure them, so please always know that.
Duckies! 🥰
They were so sweet, all along the little river.

War das Käsebrot?
Der Name buchstabiert man “Keesebrod“, aber als ich es aussprach, musste ich ein bisschen schmunzeln!
In Franconia, not Bavaria ;)
Have you watched the whole video? I said, very clearly, that I was in Franken. And I pointed out the architecture is Franconian.
@@LaureninGermany 😊
Oh dear, the Franconians and Bavarians are like cat and dog, same goes for the Badenser and Württemberger 😂 "Unfortunately" all of them are living at the same Federal States now/Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg 😮😊
All of a sudden the old "Germanic tribes/kingdoms etc" are popping up again, but never meant serious 😊
Thanks a lot for the very nice video again, dear Lauren and enjoy
your time in Meppen 😊
Sunny greetings from Bremen
@@LaureninGermany It's a remark in jest, since you mentioned you're in Bavaria and because of said... rivalry. Sorry if I sounded too serious.
@@ThePixel1983 I have a bit of a sore spot about it, I suppose. I‘m sorry, too! I reacted as if you were serious as I hear it a lot. I dislike these internal conflicts so much. We have it in Wales, too. And now we have Brexit…
@@LaureninGermany I am sorry. Here, it's 200 years in the past. I didn't think about the open wounds on the British Isles.
