The setup looks great Miriam! Excellent tip here with the sprayer, beats always spraying with a bottle (try a hose with a mist attachment next time, you can really fly through all of this!)
I’ve seen this on Amazon and wondered about it. I wanted to do my miniature tree with it maybe tape off the lights and then lock it and then on tape the lights I know that’s a lot of work but it might be worth it. Also when you got it all finished all I could think of was oh girl hit. That with some scenic cement 😂😂😂 the villager in me couldn’t help it. Ha ha.
Hey Cari, one of the garlands I used for this was prelit and my lights still shine through nicely and I didn’t cover them. You actually don’t need the scenic cement. It hardens with the second spray of water.
Thank you so much. I tried to flock my garland to match my tree with the snow in a can from walmart and it was not the look i was going for. Going to wash it off andnstart over with this. Ive already ordered some ❤
I'm planning on trying to flock my Christmas tree next year! I just recently found you, by your Christmas Village videos, and subscribed. My kid has been trying to get me to do a village for years and I finally decided to go for it. I'm planning a victorian one and have become obsessed with some of your victorian homes, particularly the blue one, the cream colored one and the red one. Can you tell me the names of those ones? I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
Miriam, I guess the second coating of water makes the Sno- Flocking adhere to the garland? Is this product fine enough to use in a Christmas village? BTW, you looked absolutely gorgeous in your introduction video! 😊 Could this product could be an alternative to Woodland scenics soft flake snow and scenic cement?
Hey Robin, yes, and yes. The second coating of water activates the binding agent in the powder and it dries hard. You will experience a light amount of shedding when first handling it. I think it is the stuff that didn’t adhere all the way. This would be a great alternative to woodland scenics. I have already used it on several trees in my village. Thanks for the compliment. 😁
Hello.I am wondering once they are flocked for this years decorating ,can the flocking be removed say you want green garland next year, or do they stay flocked, and need to buy new pieces
Love your festive look💃... the garland looks amazing too! 🎄
Thanks so much! 😁
That came out great. I am going to do that to our garland. Thank you for sharing with us. Have a blessed weekend my dear friend.
That’s great! You are very welcome! 😁

That’s wonderful. I think you will like it. 😂
How cool. I've got my decor up for this year, but this is a great idea for next year! Do you know of a product to make garlands look icy?
Hey Rebecca, I don’t know anything that gives an icy look but if I come across anything I will let you know.
To get an icy look use liquid glue and crystal like glitter
@@charlenedickens6015 how cool! Thanks for the tip. I'll definitely try that.
@@obsessedwith_christmas You're welcome

@@MiriamsManner।Thank you ma'am I wish you well too
How do you hang garland to a brick fireplace without nails?
I would use the command strips. Make sure you get the ones that are like 5-7lbs and use 2-3 of them.

Hi. Could you have used a flour sifter for the flock?
Yep! 😁

I don’t think it can be removed, it stick on and hardens pretty good.
Thank you
