    I mean I’m sure there’s a subconscious thing happening when batting in a cage. We can all balance on a street ledge, but put that same ledge 40 ft in the air and suddenly walking it becomes harder.

      ​@@appleal1sleep on your back and do overhead shoulder stretches. hanging is really good for your shoulders.
      making sure your shoulders are loose and strong is important for arm mobility

    I used to say to my coach that the ball machine was delayed. It was giving me the balls on the time it was suppose to so I'd have to readjust my stance, I rarely missed on game day but I'd always fuck up in training he just said that I was making excuses. One day the maintenance guy came in with a brand new machine, that shit hit me with the most crisp balls and from there on I smashed it in training. Some times it really is the equipment, in this case it's not 😂

    Little early on 55 mile per hour pictures and I was always smashing foul balls and other fields and I finally got my time to figure it out. It was amazing.

      it makes sense. if your toes are cramped they can't spread out which causes plenty of mobility issues.

    Take everything opposite field!! It’ll fix your timing real fast. Literally take EVERYTHING oppo from second base to the outfield line. Piazza always did that too in batting practice and before every game

    It's funny how when we are struggling with something, our brains will find something else that we're feeling, or are uncomfortable about(such as the cage/nets, which probably did feel strange or awkward to her), and make that the reason that for our "failure". As if if that one thing weren't in the way, we'd succeed. I wonder what that's about.
    Also, good on her for immediately owning it.

    I think she’s having a fear that the ball is gonna bounce off the metal frame in front of her, so she’s not giving it a %100 swing. Not sure if that’s it but it’s a possibility why she was saying it’s the cage.

    I mean. It might be the cage lol. Why is the pitching fence so close? Id be afraid to full swing in case of a ricochet. Probably not likely to ever happen but it would be in my head and affect my swing for sure.
