I recently joined your private group and have been so overwhelmed by your bows, I was given the pro bow hand and the bow dabra a year or so ago and have never used them, thank you for this video others I have watched have left me aggravated and I just put the tools back in the closet.
I am so thrilled that you are finding your passion for making bows again. All it takes is lots of practice. You'll only get better the more you keep making them.
Laying here with headache sand queasy. Ordered bowdabra this mornig. Had one years ago. Cant wait to make my bows again. Good to watch you. I subscribed.
Thank you so much for all of the inspiration, I’ve watched all of your videos at least once, but rewatching them during the tough “isolation” period we are in! I find it hard to mix burlap (or burlap texture) ribbon or materials with mesh, deco mesh, and even the poly mesh! Can you do a video or shed some advice on how to incorporate the rustic charm of burlap ribbon on a mesh wreath, reason being that in Indiana, the humidity doesn’t allow burlap to be outdoors for very long at all, but the farmhouse country charm is the highest demand for my customer base! Thank you!!
Thank you so much and yes definitely I will be showing you more rustic designs for every holiday. Thank you so much for letting me know. Remember you can always use the burlap jute, which is a look and feel of burlap but not the same. That might be what you need to use to give those designs as rustic country feel, Jessica.
I simply added an eye screw to the middle of my pro bow, it works perfectly. I have trouble with 2.5 in ribbon on my pro bow. The 2.5 twists look messy. Maybe more practice....
Renae, could be more practice. I found that by making my dowels a bit longer, I had more control over the ribbon. I just also added an eye screw to an oversized cutting board because I needed more room especially when it came to tree topper bows.
IS IT BETTER TO PUT TWO RIBBONS TOGETHER AS YOU PUT THEM IN THE BOW DABRA, OR PLACE THEM SEPERATELY AS YOU ARE THE THE BLACK/WHITE POLKA DOT. ALSO WHAT IS THE WIDTH TO MAKE A PERFECT BOW? I USE MY BOW DABRA ALL THE TIME, LOVE IT. YOU ARE SUCH A PRECISE TEACHER, EASILY UNDERSTANDABLE. THANK YOU.
Gloria. You should come join the private group and we share much more different camera angles so you can get a better idea of how everything works. Also during those calls it is much easier to ask questions like if you were actually there with me. Simply to go Etsy.com/shop/KatsCreations777 There is a one month or three month option.
Hi Kat, I love when you use the half bow, and I've been binge watching your tutorials but I can't find how you do them? Is there some special technique?
The bowdabra is by far my favorite and so easy to use and easy to store. All the others are too complicated and bulky!! I got mine at joanns with a coupon on top of sale and it was no more than 10$
You can use whatever one you are most comfortable with. I find the ProBow makes perfectly symmetrical bows and the Bowdabra gives me a creative edge that I love!
Great thank you I did but the Bowdabra and am trying to figure it out but as we say practice makes permanent so going to take a bit before I get the hang of it...LOL I might try finding the ProBow later on and see how I do with it but either way I know I will be making bows for not just the wreaths but gifts as well for the grandkids and family for birthdays and holidays...
@@KatsCreationsNMore Thanks for your message Kat. I felt so lucky when I found you on You Tube and I really enjoy watching and learning from your tutorials. I have made two of your wreath designs following your videos. When the camera is set up to film you straight on or from the side, those views do not show us your techniques. I know there are times you move your wreath around for us to see what you have done, but the overhead camera gives us a better view of exactly what you are doing. It’s the little things you do to your wreaths that we don’t get a chance to see and it’s those little things that make a difference. I can only imagine how difficult it is to produce the videos you share with the public and my comment about the camera placement is just my personal opinion. I certainly meant no disrespect to you or your husband. ❤
I'm not trying to be negative Kat but the volume on your videos is very low compared to other videos I've watched on UA-cam. I have a really hard time hearing you most of the time. I don't feel like it's my tablet because I have no problem with other people's videos. That being said I love your wreaths and think you are very very talented.
Linda, I just verified from UA-cam that their default setting on the actual video is turned to low. You will need to adjust this on the actual video by clicking on the speaker and turning it up.
This is from an older video Gloria, so it was before we changed up our audio. Make sure you are setting the volume level not only your device but also on the UA-cam video itself.
Thank you for the tutorial on the bow maker, cute wreath.
You are more than welcome Sandy.
Great tutorial! Thank you, Kat and Steve!

Thank you for watching and subscribing Jan! I love using my Bowdabra!
Hi Kat's, I was wondering the bow box that you use to straightening your Bowes, where can I order one? Thank you, Carolyn
Carolyn, I just use a 18 by 24 inch cutting board with a 2 inch "C" hook attached to the center.

Holly, think of it like an awareness ribbon, and simply twist one part of the tails out to form a flattened version but with a fluffy loop.
@@KatsCreationsNMore Hi I found it. Thanks for responding so quickly!😊

Hi Kat I’m Pauline from England
Hello and welcome Pauline. Thanks for watching me from England.
Still working on a great bow
Just keep going. You'll get there and then you'll be a pro in no time, Kathy
I love my Bowdabra! Luckily I got 50% and only paid $7 and some change.♥️
Now that's a great deal Joy!
@@KatsCreationsNMore It is😍
Please where I can find tha bowdabra
You can find them at Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Joann or Michaels. I believe Amazon even sells them.

Where did you find the wired paw print ribbon you had in the dog wreath? Love your wreath.
I got the ribbon from Craft Outlet!
Kat's Creations 777 Thanks. I love Craft Outlet.
Me too! I LOVE all their stuff!
Just got my bowdabra.....teach me....lol
Do we have to have the probow or can we just have the bowdabra alone?

That you can and you can also sell the bows as well by themselves.
Oh wow thank you for that bit of information...💘
Anytime.
It would have been easier to watch if the camera was overhead.
I have since recorded this on an overhead view Karen.

Can NOT hear you Turn up the volumn
There are two different volumes. One is directly on the video from UA-cam and the other would be your computers volume.

Turn it towards us ur arms blocking view
