I think it is sad how Kelly dropped in on a surfer with a disability ( Derek lost his eye in his youth ). Jokes ……..I take my hat off to both surfers . I spoke to Derek at Burleigh one day and looked at his board , he is certainly a forerunner in surfing . Well done Derek and Kelly if your reading this don’t drop in !!
What's wrong with Hynds legs/hips/back? Anyone know?.. he doesn't stand up not even a little bit one single time through this entire session. I grew up watching him surf. I know he doesn't surf like this. Just curious if anyone knows the clinical reason.
Just like a body board u don't really need fins ,it's about riding your rails to make it down the wave n less drag .Everyone got stuck on the thruster faze made surfing easy for everyone....🐵
Cool style. Slater has proven he can bottom turn and hit lip, and has a few balls. Most surfers that practice can do the same. Its just outlandishly stupid to take a pure sport and turn it into a competition and a commercial enterprise. Isn't it sad what we do to purity
