This boat has a 480hp engine. The trim tabs help it get the maximum possible speed with this engine. It does not plane but it does go faster with tabs. We don't install trim tabs on any 45s with less than 480hp.

Why does the boat have trim tabs? I don't think the boat gets up on plane with the one Cummins.
