Kobe once asked a maintenence guy to check the rim height because he was missing shots he shouldn't miss, and it felt like it might be about 1/4 inch too low.
Guy checked and indeed it was exactly 1/4 inch too low.
Same thing happened with Steph at the Celtics arena, but it was 2 inches off.

(Then again. This is WNBA and the guys I mentioned are NBA GOATS, so maybe they really wouldn't notice.

Funny thing is. There is a huge size difference and Jump difference between nba and wnba.
So lowering the rim actually is a very good idea and would increase gameplay style and views for sure.
