one of the most underrated band... If i had an option to choose only one from Norway's metal bands, i don't know which one to choose between Enslaved or Amon Amarth.. (haha) love all the way from the state of Mizoram, India
Jesus, and on this day, Oslo gave up its Viking status...I could fit more people in my living room who would've been grateful as fuck to see my favorite band...
I think it's a "regular festival" happening in center Oslo, the Øyafestival. You can see a larger audience in the few shots taken from the stage to the audience. There seems to be a lot more people wandering about.(maybe waiting for some pop or rap artists'turn?) Enslaved is rather famous in Norway, even from the "regular public" but it was not the case at the time. So I guess that could explain why there is so few metalheads here. A regular festival so a regular crowd.
+Foo Vines Bluetooth was invented in Scandinavia, that symbol which they are using has something to do with their culture and so bluetooth earned its symbol from Scandinavia.
The name "Bluetooth" is an Anglicised version of the Scandinavian Blåtand/Blåtann (Old Norse blátǫnn), the epithet of the tenth-century king Harald Bluetooth who united dissonant Danish tribes into a single kingdom and, according to legend, introduced Christianity as well. The idea of this name was proposed in 1997 by Jim Kardach who developed a system that would allow mobile phones to communicate with computers. At the time of this proposal he was reading Frans G. Bengtsson's historical novel The Long Ships about Vikings and King Harald Bluetooth.[10][11] The implication is that Bluetooth does the same with communications protocols, uniting them into one universal standard.[12]
such a great band and a great performance and then this terribly bored audience...how many people are there?200?on a festival with one of the greatest viking-metal-legends?very sad ...enslaved deserves more!

Enslaved are by far one of my all-time favorite metal bands....
What a mighty Viking metal band, one of the best in NORWAY.
The clean vocals at the end of Path to Vanir is one of my favorite moments in music, it's too beautiful
Right before the part after that where they break it all up.

Very easy considering Amon Amarth is swedish
I just saw the lineup of the 2006 Øyafestivalen and the crowd reaction makes a lot of sense to me now XD
Glad to finally find it here. I was watching it with VLC about 10 years ago. Good memories.
Vikings brought to life.
Great band, great sound, great gig...... Bad crowd though ✌🏻️
This is a travesty...playing on their home Norwegian turf to an corpse-like, sparse audience...
Why do you want to mosh to the late Enslaverd music?
Hipster crowd at Øya usually. It is not a metal festival., but a blend of everything
There are like 5 people actually into this in the audience.
True. The rest of the audience was boring. Nothing compared to Retaliation 2003 crowd.
35:45 Essenceeee
Awesome Band. Hear them since Day one.
Since 1991??
@@DKfan87 Adults hear that Music too, you know.
@@mgkpraesi I do. I only found this band in 2003-04. Mostly because of the Lords of Chaos book where they are mentioned.
Fantástico!! Como quisiera ver a enslaved en vivo 🤘🏼😠
Tuve la dicha, de verlos 4 veces. Tremendos!!

12:13 Path to Vanir

I have this on my computer lol
Jesus, and on this day, Oslo gave up its Viking status...I could fit more people in my living room who would've been grateful as fuck to see my favorite band...
Entroper, Path to Vanir and the Dead Stare are amongst my favorite enslaved pieces. Performance here is pristine. But the crowd is very depressive.

Live in Norway and there is nobody to see them ??? What happened to you Norway ??

A regular festival so a regular crowd.
why do they have a bluetooth symbol on the right of their stage ? :D
Berkano and Gebo rune hybrid. Predates bluetooth by thousands of years.

oh okay, then my original comment is quite emberrasing xD

такое ощущение, что это не норвегия, а выступление на день города в измайловском парке..
that would have been amazing if the small crowd were all dedicated fans. nice and interactive. great band and show lousy crowd
of course any making of new fans is great, i just think they deserve better is all!
Why the hell is the Crowd so weak. I'd be amazed just to see them.
such a great band and a great performance and then this terribly bored audience...how many people are there?200?on a festival with one of the greatest viking-metal-legends?very sad ...enslaved deserves more!
This crowd makes me cringe so hard!
oohhh enslaved needed to play faster songs to move them :P
Awesome show but, fucking crowd
