as a Frozen Blaze enjoyer i can say that is a cracked armor outside and inside dungeons , why u need 2 bil g drag if u die in 1 hit? if u get frozen blaze u have dmg and defense , all u need
Well I can tell you alr, after cata 43 with perfect jaspers its actually better than even edrag necron for damage (especially with term) Sadly its never better than g drag necron for damage. Def the overall best though, best ehp, best speed, cheapest and 2nd best in damage. Def worth it.
The best thing about frozen blaze is that everything about it is multiplied by 1.4x. This also includes ferocious mana. In F7, I routinely get 500 ferocity whenever the mage mana drains, and that’s only 3 Ferocious mana 5 enchants! I would also like to say that I do have necron in addition to my frozen blaze, and I use a legendary lvl 100 lion with my necron (because I’m broke and can’t afford a gdrag). I will admit that my frozen blaze is much more maxed than my necron, but the Lion pet isn’t half bad itself. Even so, my frozen blaze does loads more damage than my necron. I’d just like to say fantastic work on your videos!!! (Also if anyone still has any doubts, go watch nuclear fuels video on this topic. It’s not quite as “pretty” but the graphs really help visualize just how good frozen blaze is.)
So I’m going to assume that because you said you use Necron as mage that you’re playing lcm. I believe that the mage beam ability scales the most with intelligence, so I believe that ancient storm is still the king in that situation. Please note that I have never played true lcm, so I’m definitely not very knowledgeable about this subject, and if any sweats want to correct me, please do. 😂
The reason you get so much more ehp inside and outside dungeons is because of the legendary blaze perk, doubles hpbs and fumings. And the % stat boost is counted after the double hpbs thats why your ehp is a lot better.
Would it be worth it to first get an epic and then upgrade it at kat once I can afford it or to spend 30m more on the leg and upgrade armour afterwards.
The thing that most people seem to forget is, necron CAN do better dmg than fb, necron CAN have more ehp than fb, but not both at the same time. With a blue whale or baby yeti, you have more ehp in necron than u would have in fb with a blaze pet, but then you do way less dmg than with fb. Same thing with dmg. With a drag pet you deal more dmg in necron, but the ehp you get from fb is a good amount higher. So in necron you have to decide wether you want to have ehp or dmg where in fb, you can have both at the same time (and it costs like 600m less than necron+edrag)
I'm like 98% sure frozen blaze does more damage than necron with edrag but less than necron + gdrag inside dungeons, however you would have to use hasty terminator and somehow get speed if you actually want to play dungeons.
Honestly coming from a frozen blaze main myself, this armor set gets more and more cracked the more you put into it. and i love it! Also it's very good for price comparasion Frozen Blaze + Blaze Pet = 200m ish or more depending on what you give it like your video Necron is around 200m just to get g6p6 legion and gems and you either need a edrag or a gdrag with 1b bank to completely outclass it so, 2.5B for full potential Frozen Blaze also gets stronger with every new enchant or gems released considering the blaze pet buffs it by 40%, and the cata scales + Master Stars scale with it, (i am almost Cata 47) In Terms of Damage, yes Necron outdamages it by a decent chunk but considering how much less you need to spend on the set and pet itself, honestly not too shabby. (Plus you can spend more money maxing frozen blaze out) In Terms of EHP tho, no contest Frozen Blaze is a lot better than necron with gdrag, the necron and edrag combo does come close but not quite there yet. This has to do with the doubling of hot potato and fuming books and armor being buffed by 40% helps too with cata scaling. I main Tank in dungeons as well with clearing with frozen blaze and since it has a lot of natual defense, the tank passive makes me really tanky at the start, i get 2m ehp to start m7. So, TLDR: Frozen Blaze is hella underrated. You can see how good it can get by checking mine with /pv Saiune (it's not maxed yet tho it's almost there)
I got a question as a cata 31 (almost 32) should I be using necron (maxed out other than legion 5) or frozen blaze (also maxed) I mostly run f7 and that’s about it. I would assume necron because of the -5% damage from withers but not sure. Also like is it worth considering ferocity? Since I can’t use tiger pet with it. (Typically get 60 ferocity btw) also my main weapon is juju if that helps
I just got back into the game recently and I had 5 ice minions down and 3-4 blaze minions. I hadn’t collected them in months so I just crafted the full set
Very nice thing about it. If someone played ironman there's nothing stopping them from placing ice and blaze minions as soon as possible and spending all their gameplay time on farming and mining since those are unrelated and they have to do it anyways, a little fishing but not too much since you don't have stuff to kill sea creatures with, then a few months in you get you frozen blaze armor and just breeze through combat

I just don't like to be pet locked. Like, you dont need crazy ehp at one point in the game. All that counts later is just raw damage and magicfind where I can just swap to my golden dragon. Fb is surely better if u dont have alot of money

True, but for Necron to actually be better than fb you need at least a 700m-1b setup, whereas with fb you could spend 200m and get more ehp than Necron but slightly less dmg

For a more casual player who couldn’t be bothered to grind out the money, fb is a great option, but it simply can’t compete with necron gdrag, especially out of dungeons, gdrag is infinitely better

a recombed legion 5 no master star fb cp costs around 25m ish so you would have saved a lot by just buying the already enchanted ones!

switch to fb month ago the dif of overall stats between necron and fb was insane and i dont have gdrag soo i switched and i didnt regret it at all
Frozen blaze has more ehp and damage per hit, necron gives more dps, at like cata 40 fb is better inside dungeons than necron +tiger/yeti

I don’t ever get kicked from parties as a cata 40 using fb, I can’t speak for m6/m7 but I’ve never had trouble in m3 or even m5
