I have brown eyes and brown hair with light skin and I couldn’t always find people who looked like me and one of my favorite princesses was Snow White, Dorothy, and Madeleine- even though she has red hair she wasn’t blonde and she and the other students wore navy blue uniforms like I did. All children are beautiful- I am so happy that there is more diversity in literature as there is in life! Her sculptures are fabulous…
This wasn't about lupita. It was really weird how they shoehorned her into this spot. This was about blk history with has nothing to do with lupitas book.
you mean like all the other books out there that are not about people of color? you can’t be in charge of everything, which might be called racist for wanting to be.

I love her illustrations! They are beautiful and etherial, I'm just floored when I see them!
Children need to be able to relate to characters in books and also with toys. We don’t all look alike and neither should these characters
EXACTLY! 💯
Priceless every child should see diversity 🥰🥰🥰
I see no diversity in her illustrations.
What diversity are you referring to? All I see is a story about a black woman creating black illustrations....Yeah, very diverse...
I am here in Brazil, bought your book to my daughter, read with her and loved it a lot. Congrats
Incredible artist. ❣️
Wow! Inspiring ❤
Really?
Black Girl Magic👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Are any of the stories realistic, crime, addiction, prison system?...
Thank you:)
The only way for the bottom of the basement, CBS morning show to survive was to become a woke, racism focused, message pushing show.
she is beautiful. she is black and Indian
CBSNews, what was the ambiguity regarding the status of the book “Sulwe" and who created that ambiguity? Was the ambiguity intentional?
They edited out the end of this story at the desk with the other anchors and turned it into a Florida cancel book hit job.

ms. harrison illustrated her book, though, just like she did matthew cherry’s story.
@@samanthanickson6478 You're missing the point.
Lol, imagine if books featuring white only characters were being celebrated...
It might be called racist...

@@samanthanickson6478 the contents of all "other books" isnt about them being all white.
How dare you call out the hypocrisy! ;)
