They did a cover of 6 or 7 daft punk songs and won a Grammy for it. Their biggest most viewed song is Hallelujah. Absolutely astounding.❤️❤️👍

You guys REALLY need to deep dive into their Christmas music. The season is approaching. I am not exaggerating when I say their versions of most of the Christmas music you will listen to is the BEST version you will have ever heard - no joke. Silent Night, Oh Come, All Ye Faithful, The 12 Days of Christmas. No kidding, you all have to make a playlist of this stuff to listen to, even if you don't react to them. And make sure you listen to "Thank You," a song Scott (yellow jacket) wrote with his partner during the pandemic - sweet, heartfelt, soft and intimate, you'll listen to it several times.

The only time - to my knowledge - they've ever used autotune (on "Do You Believe In Life After Love") because Cher used it in the original, and since she's pretty much credited for being the first to use it, it was a tribute to her. Worked!

You should feel yours is the best, mine's been rolling for 42 years now lol. I love the fun you two are having!!! Scott is a riff master!! I need one of these medley's for each year!! As you go you will find Scott can paint music with all the textures his voice brings. Mitch is just Pure crystallized voice, Kirstie is the true Power source when they need it. Matt or Avi is the Thunder and Kevin is the pure sizzling lightning of the group. Enjoyed. Try "Can You Feel the Love Tonight", Christmas...Oh Come All Ye Faithful...insane!!

They were on a show called the masked singer 6 or 7 months ago. Totally worth listening to their performances.

Yawl, need to check out their (behind the scenes), the making of “Evergreen”, “Evergreen” is one of their Christmas Albums, it was nominated for a Grammy.
It would’ve been their 4th had they won, and most believe they should’ve won it…they’ve added 8 new songs (24-31) to their newly released “Greatest Christmas Hits” album, all are worth listening to-plus they have a fun “Nightmare Before Christmas” cover that’s well worth a watch around Halloween time.
Their is also their original song “Thank You” written by Scott, where he plays the piano (first time) and Kevin (KO) plays his cello w/Mitch, Kirstie and Matt all blending to making it super moving, it’s a Thanksgiving/but more Christmas kinda feel to it-well worth a listen too! So many great tunes and so little time!
On their “Christmas around the world” album, yawl should definitely listen to “tracks” (4 African beat & Chior, 5 folk/Country feel,, 10 new age sung buy Mitch and 12 the harmonies will make your soul ascend, w/tears & goose bumps! ), those are a few of my most favorites, and there are “music videos” to watch for tracks (1, 6 and 11).
You should check out their live Cracker-barrel performance of “Evergreen” from their (Evergreen) album…it’s a song written for their mothers. It’s such a beautiful tribute!
Yawl should also check out/watch their live performance of “Joyful, Joyful” from their evergreen concert, it’s amazing!

Another great reaction. I'll request it again. Daft Punk medley please. Lol. Here is a fun fact about it. They recorded the song using a closet and recorded the video on the kitchen of one of the member's home because the studio they were supposed to use backed out on them at the last moment. They won their first Grammy for it.

The Pentatonix fan base is massive, we love reaction videos and creators get tons of subs and watches extremely fast. I usually only subscribe to people that have Pentatonix Playlists but I like ya'll's vibe. I would suggest Shallow or their extensive Christmas music.

Hehe the Cascada version of "Everytime we Touch" is mid 2000s (and is the one that everyone tends to think of) but the original by Maggie Riley was released in the 90s so it gets a very welcome pass :) . My only problem with this medley is that it's so good and I've listened to it so many times that if I hear any of the originals ambiently I half expect them to bleed into whatever song is next here.
In this song they only did Cher's song with a little auto tune, out of respect for her. In"daft punk" they only used their voices. I had to watch it live, in a hotel room to believe them. It was filmed with a phone camera. You should watch the "Shallows" from (a star is born). They did an incredible remake of that song, better than the original

2. The Wide Eyed Look of Disbelief. Normally found when you hear their Wall of Sound. Found when listening to Mary Did You Know, Imagine, Amazing Grace, The Prayer and Mad World.
3. The I Didn’t Want It to End face. Most commonly found after listening to the 90s Dance Medley. It can also be found after listening to all their medleys and evolutions.
4. The Teary Eyed Look. This is commonly found when listening to an emotional song of theirs or just the sheer beauty of their work. Commonly found when listening to Mary Did You Know, Hallelujah, Amazing Grace, Imagine, The Prayer, Prayers for This World and most especially Thank You.
5. The What Did I Just Hear Face. Happens when Pentatonix starts strong, or when you hear a really special note or Kevin sound. Is usually accompanied by rewinding the video or song to make sure your ears really heard what they heard. Those times are too many to list, but the most common rewind at the start moment is the beginning of Sound of Silence.
