I had only two notes stuck in my head, and I dug up many deep layers of brain archaeology to piece together a memory that I'd been watching a TV news show one night years ago and TMBG inexplicably showed up to sing a song about weeds. I am honestly surprised this actually exists and I didn't dream it.

John Linnell has always reminded me of Brad Dourif, who most people know as the voice of Chucky, but who I oddly remember best as Frank’s scary henchman, Raymond from the movie Blue Velvet. Oh, he also played Billy Bibbet from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest! Look him up, and you’ll see what I mean. Anyway, all my love to John, and to Brad.

it seems a bit unlikely, especially because there's only a few left, and one of them is probably gonna be King Crimson again, but Araki's taste in music (Sex Pistols, Talking Heads) seems like it'd lead him to They Might Be Giants eventually.
