Yes been told that a lot that’s just where I felt comfortable also it’s my first year racing ever got a lot to learn

Keep your hands at all times at 3 and 9 o‘clock. If you feel like you need to reposition your hands, then your seat position ist bad. Move further forward, so you can comfortably reach your dashboard. It will feel very tight at first, but you will quickly realize, that you can control your car much much more.
