Nixon knew that Carter wanted the Shah gone, but he played it safe with his words. Iranians appreciate Nixon and Sadat, for their loyalty to Iran and the Shah.

If you truly care for our culture yes I am Persian I don’t understand why you support a puppet of America. Persia culture and Islam coexisted for thousands of years and when America started killing our leaders for oil and putting in their own they introduced western culture which ruined France,Britain and more. Tell me boy why did the U.S invade Iraq? For oil nothing more they lied and killed 1 million people. Persian Heritage is thousands of years old and has given Human rights and great virtues to the world. It was invaded by Islamist and has been colonised by force and the people have lived under siege. The culture has been eroded by fanaticism of Islamic leaders to the point of removing the history of one of the most powerfull and well known Empires and longest chain of Monarchies from the school curriculums in the recent revolutionary time. The Islamic regeme has even forbidden Norooz the ancient New year persian celebration. It is so shocking the cultural difference between the Persian culture and the overbearing Islamic forced dogmas and rituals that is heartbreaking to talk about.
You can repeat all the false anti West sayings and conspiracy theories you like, but the time for these lies and brainwashing cliche's have ended. The Persian people are some of the smartest in the world and they know what they lost by the events of the revolution in the seveties. The atrocities committed by the leftist and Islamic extremists have been exposed and will not be forgotten. The days of the revolutionary Shiah version of ISIS is coming to an end. It's time for 80 million people to choose freely that they are Persian Iranians and not Islamic Republicans.

The same with pres. FE Marcos. The Filipino plebeians/working class were brainwashed to hate him when all he did was to fight the oligarchs for their best interests. Now, they realized what a huge difference their lives were during his (Marcos) "regime" to what they have today. It is unfortunate that his son, who is now the current president does not have the courage, vision and wisdom his father had.

I wish I could watch full interview of this video. I really love Richard Nixon. He was very smart and nice human.
All the blessings to this man, President Nixon. He flew all the way from the United States just to be there for the funeral. He knew a lot about the world and geopolitics -unlike Jimmy Carter. Mohammad Daoud Khan and his family were slaughtered in April 1978 communist coup d’ état in Afghanistan 🇦🇫. Jimmy had no clue, even though was given heads-up by many neighboring countries. Started at the beginning of his presidency (1977), Jimmy was pounding the Shah of Iran with accusations including “violations of human rights.” At the end, it blew up on his face: Islamic Republic of Iran was established in 1979 and followed by “Iran Hostage Crisis” in November and mishandling the rescue mission (Operation Eagle Claw) -sending unprepared servicemen with outdated and faulty equipment (helicopters had cracked rotor blades). After many bloody communist coup d’ état by opposition factions against each other in Afghanistan, Soviet Union invaded the country in 1980. Mishandling the situations in Latin America, in Caribbean countries, in North Africa, and in Central Africa need a whole book or two.

1 looper I will prove I am Iranian, because I know your not. I will explain our history and you can decide for yourself. Let’s start with world war 2. Iran was a neutral nation, but it blocke British India from British Iraq and from there to Egypt. They needed a easy supply route without ships or else it may come under fire. Then hitler invaded the Soviet Union, so the British and Soviets decided to invade Iran. Look up the Anglo-Spvoet invasion of Iran. They did it for two things 1) Oil and 2) to get a supply route to the Soviets via a Iranian railroad. Eventually after the war, the British withdrew their military and so did the Soviets, but a little bit afterwards with the help of the U.N. The shah of Iran before the invasion was Iranian and he surrendered on the condition that Iran be released which happened, but during the war the shah lost control of the oil fields even more. The shah’s son who was educated in England, returned from England and after his father died he took the throne. The shah was more simpathetic to the British because he needed the British.However, Iranians hated him for esscencally making Iran into a puppet state and getting rid of Persian culture in exchange for western culture. The shah used the SAVAC police force and killed protestors. Then the U.S led a Coup against the prime Minister of Iran who wanted to nationalize the oil field. The shah did nothing. After that he was overthrown in the events I hope you at least know. Now let’s look in Afghanistan your war. During the Cold War America lost to farmers in Vietnam. America was pissed so when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, the U.S wanted revenge. They supported the mujahideen which means guerrila fighters. Some of these fighters were future members of the taliban and Al Queada. Yes, America basssically helped the Taliban, Now if you do not believe me search it up. They used U.S stinger missles which was the afghans only solution to taking out Soviet planes. Now if your would like I will take about iraq next. It has been 19 years and tell me have your found the “weapons of mass destruction” in Iraq yet?
