    Hi Friends,
Lets not critizize her or anyone personally. She is really a beatiful & kind hearted person. She genuinely wanted to know about this issue and we both dont have much knowledge on this topic. We just spoke about our experiences in our lifes...lets not upset anyone... contructive criticism is welcome but I dont accept hatred 🙂.

No, we don't want to learn Hindi. That's our choice. We love English and we love to learn English. That's our choice. If northies come to the south, let them deal with it. And no, Hindi is not a national language. If we go to the north, we will deal with it. We don't want to waste time learning another language which we don't want. We would rather learn science or other subjects of our choice in that time or just simply enjoy our time when we're free.

The Portuguese, Dutch, English, Armenian and people from other parts of the world came to TN.. How did they manage?? They did not force their language... They learnt the local language and helped to improve.. The Portuguese developed a first print press in porto novo, Jhon Gilchrist a proffessor at Fort william calcutta found Hindi language.. why North Indians can't learn Tamil ?? But then, who says they don't learn, most North people live in TN speak good Tamil and the Tamils in North speak good hindi and many other languages.

if 'X' knows one language he is only 'X'. If he knows two languages he is 'X' × 2. If he knows three languages he is 'X' × 3........ if he knows 8 languages he is 'X' × 8 and so on. Learning more languages not only increases our knowledge but also gives our mind a broader outlook, thereby enabling us to appreciate the skills and talents of people from other States and countries. The adage that my Mother tounge and my state is always the best is simply nonsense to say the least. Everybody language is a beauty....

Tamil is the oldest living language in the world. Our grammar book is around 2500 years old. You cannot insist that I should learn Hindi. If I need to learn any language I will. If I settle in north India I will learn Hindi Same goes with north indian coming to south. If I want to visit I need not learn Spanish. Don't you know India is a union of States. I guess you are trying to popularise spoken English which is good. Seek feedback on your grammar, there is scope for improvement.
The problem of Hindi has only one need. That is government correspondences between state and Centre.
My suggestion for India would be to make Hindi compulsory for government servants (central and state). That is about 3 crores of Indians out of the 1.4 Bn.
Please popularise this solution and put a break to this language politics. Thanks. Good Luck

Other than India... you can find Tamil is the second Official Language.
    Sri Lanka
    Singapore
    Malaysia
    Marutitus
    Andaman
Before the invention of Aeroplane, these Tamils gone to Whole World.
Those times Tamil people did not need any language like Hindi to go to Global.
Before Media or digital facilities we have in our contemporary time, Tamil people didn't learn any more languages except Tamil.
Then why should they learn Hindi NOW!!!

  • @inkkumar3
    @inkkumar3 21 годину тому

Natural feeling when wrong information is told
I don’t hate Hindi, but Hindi is not a national language
Moreover , Tamil Nadu stays in extreme south and distanced from Hindi
For example people in Nagercoil can speak Malayalam, and people in Andhra tn border gets mix of Tamil word
So naturally it depends on where you live and what you can learn naturally and easily
But knowingly or unknowingly we created a reason behind asking why should I learn Hindi and debate about it
Ultimately we have to survive in this world, so whatever feeds us we have to learn it

Hindi is very useful to travel across India.
However, it will be tough for South Indians to learn Hindi without having exposure to Hindi . Punjabi, Gujrati, Maharashtrian can't avoid Hindi because they watch Hindi movie/serial etc. right from Childhood.
Some South Indians learn Hindi but they can't speak. They can only read & write.
Moreover, Hindi is not required for South Indian unless they are posted in North India. It is waste of time

Thousands of people come to Tamil Nadu from the Northern States for work. How do they manage to work here without knowing Tamil? Because they know that they are going to Tamil Nadu to work and earn and not to learn Tamil and can pick up the basic words quickly. Same is the case with Tamils who work in North India. Lakhs and lakhs of Tamil people in Mumbai and Delhi speak Hindi. Necessity will push a person to learn any language. Indians who live in European countries learn the local language without any fuss.

Tamil Vowels and Consonants are called as Soul and Body. The grammar is based on how a Soul and Body involve in creating sound. For example a soul cannot directly contact another Soul, it has to contact through Body only. Similarly Body cannot create sound by its own. Body is just a medium/material. The Tamil vowels are common for any language in the world. Example B,C,D,G,P,T,V has E sound in it and F,H,J,K,L,M,N,S,X,Z has A sound in it and Q has U sound in it and Y has I sound in it. W - double U (UU) it has U sound. R has “ah” sound but this is not in english as a separate vowel. In fact “ah” is the base for all proper sounds created from mouth. Do not consider shh, iff sound which, these are not in Tamil. You can create lot more sounds like these from your mouth, but those cannot be taken as proper sounds since you cannot have a proper consonent(body) position. Yes, Consonants are just positions of the mouth/tongue/lips. If you tell “ah” continuously meanwhile close your mouth and open you will get “Amma”. If you tell “ah” continuously and stop while you close your mouth and start again while you open you will get “Appa”. “iP” and “iM” are same positions only difference is “iM” is nasal. Similarly Vallinam and Mellinam in Tamil follows.
The Tamil grammar/language is based on how Soul and Body interacts. Tamil: Uyir ezhuthukkal (soul letters) are natural sounds that Humans make. Examples...
ஆ Ah - when one gets pain
ஈ Ee - when one laughs
ஊ Uu - when one drops unexpectedly (whoops)
ஏ Hey - In anger or when one alerts (Hey! watch out)
ஐ ii - when one exclaims
ஓ Oo - when one understands (Oh oh! now I understand)
ஒள Ouu - when one fears of sudden pain (Ouch!)
These expressions are common to any Human irrespective of language or region. Because these are natural sounds from inside us out of natural expressions. That is why these sounds are called as Uyir (soul) in Tamil.

    You are wrong
    whole north doesn't speak Hindi
    For example :-
Maharashtra interior village they speak only Marathi and konkani
Only main metropolitans cities speak Hindi.
Hindi language born only 60 years ago
Both of you learnt to speak English language but your knowledge and history about languages is zero.
