“Buster B. Jones is the best fingerpicker I've heard since Jerry Reed... He plays like he's double parked." -Chet Atkins
RIP to all three of those extraordinary players!

johntrik The video is annoying as fuck. It's over 3 minutes of him talking. Whoever posted this should have edited out the talking. Just because he was a great guitarist, that doesn't mean his every utterance is worth listening to.

I'm so sorry that he's passed on, but I remember talking to him back in late 2010---early 2011. He sounded a bit rough in his voice, but was a complete gentleman and answered all my questions. He emphasized "play with fire and passion" and practice consistently. I miss you brother ✔️🇺🇸

Fantastic guitar player & that Keller guitar is one of the finest guitars on the planet. That's at least a $25,000 guitar and believe me it sounds that good too.

It's not in my price range, that's for sure, but the quality and rarity of the wood is a major part of the price. The abalone inlays took hundreds of hours to do and there are other intricate things like the bridge pins are made of fossilized mastedon tusks that are about a bazillioin years old. Check the price on Brazilian Rosewood sometime. It is endangered and no longer legal to harvest (1972) so it is very rare and expensive. The old Martin guitars are so valuable greatly because of this.

Chet and Les both knew Buster and liked his stories. Buster was one of the greats. A long time partner of Thom Bresh, son of Merle Travis. At best he was really super fast.

music starts at 3:24. i don't like musicians who talk too much. they assume people are interested the story of their lives. if you look at people like chet atkins and les paul, they just go up there and play. they don't get chatty unless they are asked to be.

crazycool1128 I hope in the last 5 years you've grown into something more closely resembling a human being, as opposed to the complete asshole you were 5 years ago.
