I really love and prefer these voice over tutorials because of the intense and specific lessons. The models talking is cool too but they go off on stories about this and that and I lose parts that Julie is doing on the model but is unable to explain.

Stephanie told me about your channel... I’m about to cry I’m so over makeup right now. My skin Is well taken care of, I tend to get oily and breakout on my chin only around my period. Everyday I put on makeup and you can still see my old acne scars underneath and suddenly my pores have massive texture and I have wrinkles around my mouth and under my eyes. Concealer does not cover the dark spots just gives me more under eye creases. I just leaned you can’t mix water base with silicone base... so I labeled all my primers and foundations. I have like 6 different foundations and 8 primers, help me please 😞
Aww don’t be so hard on yourself! Large pores, acne scars, & fine lines are SO normal! We just don’t see them on others online because of filters on pictures and great lighting in videos. That being said... it sounds like you still haven’t found the right foundation. The full coverage ones that give the best coverage tend to make pores look larger and bring out fine lines and wrinkles 😩 What ones are you using?? You could try using two different ones since it sounds like you have a bunch to choose from, a more full coverage just right where you need it and then a medium to light coverage one every where else. Right now I’m liking Too Faced born this way foundation on myself, it seems to give nice coverage without emphasizing fine lines or large pores.

If they are pitted scars sometimes a silicone primer like smash box pore minimizing primer will help fill them in a bit! Usually though, makeup doesn’t help a ton with texture. It emphasizes it if you use to much. Laser treatments and micro-needling are great ways to permanently reduce acne scarring.
