Honestly, those who didn't like the new singer don't understand much about music or entertainment. Besides being technically a good singer she is extremely charismatic, has a lot of stage presence, dances well, performs with her own dynamic identity. In this group there are only talented musicians, and Elena is not there for nothing. Accept that nothing is forever, now it's Elena and she's amazing! Last but not least, she is hot and I confess that I am a little in love. that's it! xoxo

No, you don't understand the subjective nature of art. The song is better without the vocals. Not to mention that the mixing was off and you could barely hear her, let alone make out the words. I haven't heard her anywhere else, but in this her style is crap and fits pop better than electro swing. And if you think the jerking around moves she had is dancing, I should direct you over to the catgroove clip animation. I guess she couldn't be bothered to hire a choreograph instructor? I mean, you can jerk off to anyone you want, that's fine. Just leave music and its quality out of it.
It’s a preference thing. I adore and have nostalgia for the song as it is, and the vocals break that for me. Not saying it’s a bad performance or that she’s a bad singer, it just isn’t my cup of tea. Your criticism of others preferences leads me to believe you don’t understand much about nostalgia and personal values.
There was a singer with shorter dark hair. She had an amazing voice and oozed sexuality even though she was not a classical beauty. I say that as a total man-pleaser. But that woman was amazing as a singer as a phenomenon.

Новая солистка неплоха, она бесспорно в теме, но ей требует серьезной тех. подготовки. Вцелом хорошая девушка, но требуется жесткий хореограф, плюс диета. Ну и небольшие доработки по вокалу тоже не помешают. Как раз с вокалом более-менее всё неплохо (Маркус видимо подобрал), но общий внешний имидж и пластика требуют серьезной доработки, неплохо бы добавить изящнства и эстетики. Но вцелом девушка хороша и если она готова работать, то успех обеспечен.
