April and a flower (ballad and most of the song are sad vibes) 2. Dear my dear (pop ballad but more positif or warm vibes) 3. Last Scene (mixed ballad, Rnb, pop) 4. Polaris (Japanese album) (more pop rock) i love all songs on those 4 mini albums... they are all so beautiful and on my daily playslist song Chen is one of a singer that i can like almost all of his songs, along with D.O. and Chanyeol. their song hits my soul directly.

His lower register is actually super well developed and supported. I recently saw a video by a vocal teacher who said that Chen's lower register can even go head to head with that of a baritone, and Chen of course is a tenor. The vocal teacher even jokingly said he (a bartione) feels threatened by Chen's lower register. So it's THAT good. Kpop male singers are almost all tenors, and very few can claim to have a lower register as developed and supported as Chen's. SM makes Chen sing all the crazy high notes, and Chen CAN sing those with great support too but because of his parts in EXO songs, he has become widely recognized and acknowledged as vocalist who is good at singing high notes. Yet his fans know that as good as he is at singing high notes, he's even better at low notes. You heard of some his lower register in the song "Rainfall" at 20:47 in your video and also in the Masked Singer clip (for the song "Drunken Truth." Since you said you liked how "Rainfall" sounded, you should check out Chen's song "Mirage of Flower" from his album "Polaris." The song is known for being really difficult, even for the original singer. So Chen was showing that he could sing the song in the original female key range, which, as you probably know, is extremely difficult for most male singers to even come close to reaching. And then add on top of that, the fact that it isn't even easy for females to sing it, just shows what makes him one of the best singers in Kpop. That's why everyone was so impressed. EXO Next Door is a drama from 2015, where the main characters are Chanyeol and Kyungsoo (they play themselves), and a girl played by Moon Gayoung (a korean actress, currently widely known for her role in True Beauty). Basically in this drama some EXO members move to the house next to the one where the female lead (played by Gayoung) lives, and the story revolves around that. It has some plot twists in the middle, but I would say the plot is very "fanfic-like". I personally don't think the drama was very well written, and the product placements are a bit exaggerated (a lot of exols dont really like the drama because of that), but it's a good drama to watch for fun, specially since it's relatively short, with only 16 episodes (around 13-15min each). Exo next door was my first kdrama. I didn't know Exo and I thought all of them actors. After watching Exo next door I began to search more about kyungsoo and Chanyeol, then I found that they are the members of Kpop group Exo. Now I'm an Exo-L who loves all of members. They are my happiness.
Tbh the humor in Exo next door isn't so bad, its just outdated much like any show that came out around that time like Kill me heal me. I think the overexaggrated placement was done purposely to make it appear like a sitcom. Its the first time I'm hearing that many eris didn't like the show.

I don’t think this “Official Guide to:Chen” does his voice justice. It only highlights the extremes he is capable of. For me he is the “Ballad king”. Please listen to his solo songs Beautiful Goodbye, Hello or Light of my Life; his OSTs Cherry Blossom Love Song, An Unfamiliar Day, Make it Count, Your Moonlight and Everytime and finally as a member of EXO, First Snow, Miracles in December, Universe and For Life (live version). It is through these songs that I fell in love with his voice and his ability to convey so much emotion with it.
back in the day, companies used to promote their new groups in mini dramas. I personally don't think the drama was very well written, and the product placements are a bit exaggerated (a lot of exols dont really like the drama because of that), but it's a good drama to watch for fun, specially since it's relatively short, with only 16 episodes (around 13-15min each). Exo next door was my first kdrama. I didn't know Exo and I thought all of them actors. After watching Exo next door I began to search more about kyungsoo and Chanyeol, then I found that they are the members of Kpop group Exo. Now I'm an Exo-L who loves all of members. They are my happiness.
Tbh the humor in Exo next door isn't so bad, its just outdated much like any show that came out around that time like Kill me heal me. I think the overexaggrated placement was done purposely to make it appear like a sitcom. Its the first time I'm hearing that many eris didn't like the show.
@@Tooba-K123 I always had the ideia that exo-ls didn't like it, but maybe there was just a lot of people that didn't like it around the time I watched it (2016). I remember that there was a famous exo content UA-camr at that time, "exosexo", that even made a video about it, but I think she deleted her channel some years ago

I stan him even before I knew him. When I first listen to exo, I didn’t know any members but I keep loving his part in songs and all my fav songs in exo are those that he written or co written. Im in love with his voice. You should check out his ‘Lights Out’ concert performance because I think its the most beautiful thing.

I don’t think this “Official Guide to:Chen” does his voice justice. It only highlights the extremes he is capable of. For me he is the “Ballad king”. Please listen to his solo songs Beautiful Goodbye, Hello or Light of my Life; his OSTs Cherry Blossom Love Song, An Unfamiliar Day, Make it Count, Your Moonlight and Everytime and finally as a member of EXO, First Snow, Miracles in December, Universe and For Life (live version). It is through these songs that I fell in love with his voice and his ability to convey so much emotion with it.

back in the day, companies used to promote their new groups in mini dramas. EXO is not the only group that has it. but to be honest, EXO next door is a bit cringey to watch. 😂
Chen has released more since this guide. 2 more albums (Last Scene & Polaris) & a few more soundtracks since he was discharged from military service. he's more into ballads but he realized after doing music festivals that he needs more variety on his discography. his latest releases has more upbeat songs especially his 1st Japanese solo album Polaris. please check out his its Live performance of Last Scene & Traveler.
