As a long femur squater, the belt is indispensable, it helps me stay together and upright (relatively😆) On the flip side it doesn't do anything for my RDLs I don't use it even though Im stronger there.
My favorite is the guy carrying the belt around but never putting it on.

I don't use a belt but my abs gt sore afterwards n I got thick abs is it because I've never used a belt?
would it be counterproductive to use a belt on rdl's if you also want your erectors to get a stimulus?
i wouldnt say counter productive, but i'd recommend not using the belt if erector stimulus is a primary goal.
