I'm sorry, but This baby bottle you constantly suck on of "nations act only in their own interest, not out of charity" is wholly uninterrogated drivel.
The Marshall Plan alone makes nonsense of this claim. And no, you don't get to make the No True Scotsman appeal to secondary benefits of charity to pretend that there's no distinction between giving more than you receive and not doing so. Various religiously motivated geopolitical events throughout history are enough to end the debate entirely, not that you ever had the courage to put this cliche to debate in the first place, and it's obvious why: because of how obviously flaccid and parasitic it is.
This line convinces no one outside of India. Not even Japan recognizes this pathetic dictum, the same Japan which gave away tens of millions to foreign tsunami victims. Literal charity from a literal nation. And they too have enforced sanctions against Russia at the cost of their investments in Siberia.
There's literally no effective distinction between this claim and "we get to do whatever we want to do, and still be treated like those who do otherwise."
And what you're doing is not just being silent, but actively inoculating a direct, one-to-one analogy of Adolf Hitler's Anschluss of Czechoslovakia. No getting around that. Ever.

Shekhar ji you missed a major fact. What PM Modi was saying wasn't immediately translated to prez putin. After Modi completes the sentence then translators do their work. So the foot movement is actually for the previous comment Modi made.

Go to Tushar Mehta and tell him to file a case in Supreme Court he can go to Bela Trivedi in Supreme Court and get the order that says CBI can investigate the alleged scam. The fact that none of it is happening is proof itself that there is no scam.

It's best to use common sense once a while.Tell Tushar Mehta to file a case against Karnataka Government in Supreme Court.
Tushar Mehta also manages the assignment of cases CJI is master of roster in name only.
Mehta should be able to assign this case to Bela Trivedi and she will rubber stamp whatever Mehta wants like directing CBI to probe.
As Karnataka has revoked CBI general consent so after Bela Trivedi gives her rubber stamp Mehta can begin an inquiry through CBI at some point Mehta can wedge Money Laundring then ED will enter with SV Raju.
Now you have 2 lawyers whose allegiance is to Hindutva 1 Supreme Court Judge and 2 Delhi High Court judges S.K Sharma and Kaveri Baweja.
So when Modi has a whole system in place why he isn't filing the case and taking action.

    Some pointers :
    1) Terrorism finds a mention in nearly every joint statement in recent years, but no mention of Chinese aggression.
    2) Putin is indeed a weak leader desperate for some positive optics and friends. He sees India as a card against Chinese from dominating them.
    3) India understandably is bargaining hard with the Russians and expect this to continue. Joint development programs for military, investments in Indian markets will take priority.
    4) Modi & India are aware of the optics. This is also India bargaining really hard with the West and the West knows India’s ability to influence Russia and to limit the war.
    5) Visit to Europe immediately shows India’s flexibility and autonomy which many thought would be hard to continue with. India is flexing itself here.
We need this bargaining to show results in the near future.

Supply of S-400 batteries and Russian aggression in Ukraine may be the biggest reason for the enhanced Indian dependence on American and French armaments...beyond the optics the Indian establishment has so far, managed to do the tightrope walking and trying to manage the tilt that Putin has on Jinping, but while both Putin and Jinping are running autocratic regimes, PM Modi still has the weight of a functional democracy to manage

    1. putin in power almost 25 years, is not a "russian phenomenon". This "phenomenon" is part of russian culture for centuries.
    2. Modi, talking about innocent children dying was NOT referring to Krokus attack in Moscow. Even in russsia noone was making a point that during that horrific attack children were killed. The point was that innocent people got killed. So OP is wrong on that occasion too.
Weak analysis, very biased (and I know why).

India' relationship with Russia is a challenging for the west. It's not challenging for India at all.
If India is asked to choose between US and Russia, that's a pretty easy choice to make, we will choose Russia everytime.
We like America from a distance and have no problems with it, but we love Russia. Even a child in India knows that Russians have been our friends. There is nothing US can do to break India Russia friendship.
Nothing good ever comes from joining the American Empire, they will just drag you in an unnecessary war and expect fealty from you, like they did it with Britian and Tony Blair in the Iraq War.
World has everything for everyone' needs but doesn't have enough for America' greed.
Some Indians have this weird colonial hangover to be liked by The West and The West have constantly chosen Pakistan over India.
    1) Did they like India when (Mahatma) Gandhi was around? No.
(They called him half naked fakir)
    2) Did they like India when Nehru was around? No.
(They chose Gen Ayub Khan on one side and Chairman Mao on the other side)
    3) Did they like India when Indira Gandhi was around? No.
(We have heard the Richard Nixon tapes)
    4) Did they like India when Manmohan Singh was around? No.
(They had a huge problem with India buying oil from Iran, they were upset with india in the UN for position on Syria and for non intervention position in Libya, The civil nuclear deal with US has gone nowhere)
    5) Do they like India when Modi is around? No.
When you have 35 security agencies, that' not a sign of secure country but a sign of an insecure country.
At the heart of America' insecurities about Russia, is actually the thought, that the Americans didn't win the world war(on thier own as sometimes they'd like to portray), or atleast they couldn't do it without Russia' help, actually the Soviets have a much bigger contribution in ending the Nazi regime than the Americans, Maybe that's why Americans feel the need to equate everything to world war 2 and draw some kind of a parallel storyline, where their enemies are Hitler and they are Captain America in the movie, they are trying to convince themselves that they had won the war but in thier minds they know it is the Russians who sacrificed a lot more and thier contribution is much more greater.
And Yes! Americans were on the winning side but thier main contribution was mainly of weapons supply, which is what they do best, they are the largest supplier of weapons in the world.(Lend lease agreement is thier main contribution).
America is a country that has not faced a war on it's shores till Japan attacked pearl harbour, and they have a pretty skewed view of what a land war to protect it's borders looks like.
Instead, America fights pre emptive wars, you can say that the war they have against Donald Trump is actually a pre emptive war.
They see him as Hitler and are fighting a pre emptive war against him.
Even the ardent American leftist will tell you that basically the Donald Trump ruled a bit like the Romney Ryan model.
Jan 6 was unique event, but the country that argues that second amendment is for protection against government tyranny, it's unusual that somehow the Jan 6 protestors never brought thier Guns to that fight!
In the end it was just bad behaviour by Trump supporters.
There are defensive wars and there are offensive wars. Like the Iraq war and the Vietnam wars are just preemptive defensive wars and Afganistan war was a offensive war.
In the end these are nothing but "Area of Influence wars" , against countries that the Americans perceive to be in the area of influence of Russia. They are often attacked directly or indirectly by The US or they are coerced into following the American Dictats by sanctions or Global financial system of IMF or World Bank.
The Americans have no war against Saudi Arabia or Qatar or Pakistan which are in the area of influence of America.
