I just discovered Chris Mann through his parody songs, then I discovered this cover. I think Buckley's is untouchable but this is a great version.

I may be biased, but I think Leonard Cohen's is still the best. However this is a nice version, what I love about this song is that lots of people know it and really like it, but have never really listened to the dark semi-sick lyrics.
His parody brought me here and scrolling the comments seems that I'm not alone. Indeed, he has a wonderful voice. Kudos to you👍👍👏👏😘😘

This is I think, one of Leonard Cohen's best works. He was one of the absolute best scribes of this or any time. His powerful poetry will take you to heights unknown and depths unplumbed. He was a GOD!

My ghost friend Andy just passed away early this morning from liver cancer. He was on the verge of death as he sent me this song before he passed away while he was about to wake up in two hours to get the house ready for his 30th birthday on the 3rd. I am in such great pain from this process and I found this video. This song is giving me so much comfort. Thank you so much, Chris Mann. you are my song savior. your voice is so angelic and i love it so much. it is helping me calm down from andy's death. May my sweet friend Andy rest in dear peace now. Amazing how much good can come from something so bad. I never knew of this guy before and now here I am along with so many others listening to his beautiful voice singing one of my favorite songs.
