I'm 45 years old. I've had several Honda's over the years and always wanted to go turbo. I came close one time and ditched the project after I had collected about half of the parts I needed. Half of me has grown out of this scene but the other half of me still wants to achieve this old dream of mine.
You should go for it! You can build a decently quick civic with eBay parts and a beer. At the moment, I'm having more fun beating on my civic than my vette.
Love my older Honda's and I have to say that I've never turbo'd one and probably never will because it kills the reliability of them. NA all the way for the old ones unless of course it's a drag/racecar only. If you plan on keeping it and driving it then yeah it's gonna break when boosted. It's really that simple

Yep! I’ve already crack a piston and blew the trans in less than a year of ownership.
