Such a brilliant artist, and such a brilliant mind, jumping from ancient Egypt, to renaissance, to psychology, to biology, thesism, to paper towels and men in black all whilst creating a master piece. Absolutely engaging and absorbing. Peace be upon you sir.

I like your work and how you bring the classics and masters into your work and techniques. Question on the anodized aluminum panels. Does the oil paint (after dried of course) stick fast to the ultra smooth surface? Great work and thanks for the very informative videos.

I thank you for your sharing of your talent, also your explanation of technique is excellent. You have inspired me to try glazing. How long does it take for this painting to dry and do you varnish it? Best regards.

I did not know about you or this technique. I love you. I'm going to try this on a old painting I did in acrylic of a night city scape that has too many hard lines of color shooting up into the sky and down into the water. I wish you were here in my apartment with your joyful self helping me. Thanks. Where do I buy that large brush?

Doesn't this painting now have too many focal points vying for attention now? If not, could you explain please why not? Either way, amazing what big brushes and a wonderful outlook can accomplish! Very well done, sir!

David, thank you for the inspiration! Wonderful as always! How do you dispose of the oily paper towels so they don't combust?

Thanks a lot David, you made me laugh, you educated me and now inspired..I haven't been this in ore since I first saw Constable, Turner and Monet at the The National when I was 13...now being 48..it's been a while!
I am going to give it a go and see where the mystery takes me :). could I get the same effect with Acrylic paints/ glazes on canvas or would it best to use oils?

This video is inspiring. Thank you. This works great with oils, but acrylics would dry too quickly, is that correct, or am I missing something?
