Rep. Nancy Mace claims decisive victory in S.C.'s 1st Congressional District GOP primary

- CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) - Rep. Nancy Mace was declared the apparent winner of the Republican primary in South Carolina's 1st Congressional District.
The Associated Press called the race at 8:40 p.m. Mace claimed more than 57% of the initial vote count. However, the results remain unofficial.
Catherine Templeton finished a distant second with around 30% of the vote. Bill Young finished with around 13.5% of the vote.
