I just saw a commercial for the Balder Boss and came to your video. I have a Balder Pro and it wasn't bad. Then I went to a Gillette Fusion for awhile but blades were expensive. After I found the Leaf Razor it's been a game changer and makes head shaving for me something I don't mind doing. I also have sensitive skin in the back. With the Leaf I don't get irritation and the shaves are very comfortable. Plus The Leaf uses DE blades. I shave with one half blade on the bottom slot.
Hey thnx for the comment! I’ve actually used Leafs razor before and I did enjoy it, but it took me a long time to get the head shave down to the smoothness I like. The turn dial also broke on me haha. I will say I never had any irritation with it though, probably due to the DE blades. For me though it just wasn’t practical in terms of speed.
Man I don't think I heard you hit the power boost button. It's a game changer!! I bought one of these about a month ago and compared to the pit bull it's 5xs better. Next time you use it you have to hit the booster button it's a game changer!!
I'm guessing you didn't own the Pro? I do and I'm considering trying the Boss because it seems to address a few of the things I dislike about the Pro. I like using the Skull Shaver Pitbulls, but I'm tired of putting up with the meh quality of them.
You know I actually did own the balder pro. It worked well but I foolishly dropped the oil on the wrong side of the shaver and it fizzled out on me. I’d say they are comparable but if I had to pick one, I’d go with the boss. It holds the charge longer and overall cuts closer in my experience
@@josephs5582 They work well but they don’t last and the warranty is only one year. Do you find the Boss any less irritating? The Pro seems a little aggressive and sometimes irritates the area above my ears.
With the pro I never had any irritation. With the boss though I get some irritation around the neck if I go that low. No irritation on the head area though
Hey, sorry to hear that happened! Let me do some research and see if others have had the same experience. So far mine has been cleaned with running water but still works, but I haven’t submerged it or anything
UPDATE: still working!
I bought the balder boss last week it’s definitely a game changer best bald head shaver ever 😊

If mine break I think I will roll with the Leaf Twig or My Merkur 34C. Good luck with that head shaver man!@@josephs5582

@@josephs5582 Oh, one other question... do you feel like it's any better at holding clippings in the chamber? I notice bits fall out as I use it.
Does this work on the bikini area?
Probably not well. Skull Shaver might still have a women’s product called Butterfly or something.
This thing is not waterproof as they claim i barely used it twice worked great then i cleaned it with water now it's not turning on.

@@josephs5582 it's working now just have to let it dry i guess.
@@monsterman7721 awesome, glad to hear it worked out
Make sure you take it apart and put it back together like it came apart. Or you are in trouble.😮
Can you use it with shave gel as the commercials say? Thanks for the review, I'm seriously thinking about one for touch ups between blade shaves.
Thank you for the update 😂
