As simple as it is, a lot of motorcycle riders don't realize that you can lower your motorcycle with ease. Just a couple of measuring tools and a few relatively cheap parts and you can lower your motorcycle.
There are several benefits to a lowered motorcycle:
1. Easier to "flat-foot" when you're on your motorcycle
2. Less likely to wheelie with full throttle
3. Gets more power to the ground
4. Easier to control at lower speeds
5. More aero dynamic
6. Dropping the bike is less likely
There are two negatives to lowering your motorcycle:
1. Ground clearance is reduced
2. For those who really like "knee-dragging" you are going to reduce your cornering angles, so be mindful of that.
