    I shared this piece of music with my Dad together with a few other pieces of great Chinese classics over the phone last night. He passed away this morning surrounded by my brothers and sisters and relatives, but without me! as I am so far away. Dad has been severely ill lately and everybody is worried if he would make it. I could not describe my sadness to rehear this playing. Oh, friends, do not neglect to spend time with your aging parents, or you will regret like me.

      You have shared very well with your father and let me assure you, you were very selective. You shared with him none other than the music from the very State that gave the light to Laozi and Zhuangzi, plus many other things that for not being pedantic I save to mention. In few words, you gave your dad a Grand Salute and with the best… 2000 years before Bach was born. I cheer for your father today Sir.

    my point is , Chu is one of the oldest 9 states of China in 5000 years ago. A lot of archeology evidences can proof this. If you are interesting in Chu culture. Just go to the Hubei Museum in the city of Wuhan or the JinZhou Museum in the city of Jingzhou(where the capital of Chu located ).

    My mother land is actually around Chu's capital city Yin. We still use the characters our ancestors created 5000 years ago. And those characters were carved on the bells , right there. they has nothing to do with maio/hmong.

    Chu "楚“ doesn't mean “bell” in Chinese. ”楚“ means a kind of bush at first. it had the same mean with another character "荆“Jing. And the state of Jing is one of the oldest nine states of ancient China. When our ancestors first came to the land of Jing, they found it was hard to farm on this place cos it was covered by bush named "Jing/Chu” that is 荆楚 in Chinese. Our ancestors cut down the bush. settled down as a country, and named it with character 楚 . It has nothing todo with Hmong.

    the country of chu is mountainous and marshland and as recorded in history, the chu were not ethnic chinese. the chu were strongly shamanistic and animistic. the miao people are the most shamanistic people in china. Qu Yuan stated in his poem Yuan Yang, that he wishes to be buried in the land of the immortal known as the Miao people. The Chu family were mostly Xiong and surname Mi. The Xiong family of the Miao people have surname Mao. Mao and Mi are interchangeable.

    stop lying.
    firstly Qu Yuan 's poem says " 帝高阳之苗裔兮,朕皇考曰伯庸“, That is Chinese language. and means his ancestor was Gao Yang whose ancestor was Huang Di, the ancestor of most Chinese people.
    Yuan Yang 远游? you misunderstand the meaning.
    secondly no evidence proof Chu was shamanistic.
    thirdly those names such as Xiong Mi Mao are Chinese Han name. they were written in Chinese books more than 3500 years ago.

    you think the bells in the video is from Chu ? You know shit about Chinese history.
    those bells in the video is not Chu's bell. They are bells of Marquis Yi who was the marquis of a small country named Zeng. Zeng is not Chu. Zeng was another country in the north of Chu. All those instruments in the video are replications of the instruments found in the tomb of Marquis Yi of Zeng. Amount those bells of Marquis Yi, there is only one bell from Chu. And king of Chu sent it to Yi when Yi died.

      mkkid12 離騷開篇:【帝高陽之苗裔兮,朕皇考曰伯庸。】
      史記:【楚之先祖出自帝顓頊高陽。高陽者,黃帝之孫,昌意之子也。】
      Qu Yuan, greatest poet and noble of Chu, described himself "I am descendant of Emperor Gaoyang, my noble father is called Boyong."
      According to history, the royal family of Chu was offspring of Emperor Gaoyang, who was successor of Huangdi, the creator of Chinese civilisation.
      I was born in Chu's capital city, where proud of Chu poems, customs and the court music. You'd better not to talk nonsense, if you can't even read Qu Yuan's poems in Chinese characters. In the eyes of Chu people, you are nothing but a ignorant barbarian, who should be wiped out without any mercy.

      Prudens Juris Which one? Chu had many capitals. Also the Chu language or Old Xiang language has a good amount of Miao-Yao language present in it. As stated by many MANY scholars is that the Miao and Yao have lived in the Yangzte River Valley way before Chu came and establish power there. So the people of Chu were mostly Miao and Yao people. Also if you look at Chu's religious beliefs you can see that it was VERY DIFFERENT from the Northern states. It was more Shamanistic and Animistic just like the beliefs of Miao and Yao people. The most famous religion created in Chu was Taoism and if you were to know about Taoism origins you would know that it was based off of the Shamanistic and Animistic beliefs of the Chu people (Miao and Yao people). Taoism and Miao-Yao beliefs aren't so different which is why a lot of people still think that the Chu people were most definitely Miao-Yao. All you have to look at this is the Language of Chu and Beliefs of Chu. It's origins and people were definitely and originally of Han descent, but as they grew into the Yangzte River the Chu people gradually change from mostly Han to Miao and Yao people.

    • @mkkid12
      @mkkid12 9 років тому

      +Aιмι “Le Seхy Prιnceѕѕ” Mιĸυ It's because Hmong people are consider to be the natives of China. According to legends and archaeological evidence Hmong people are consider older than the Yangshao culture/society which is where Han are consider to come from. This is why people theorize that the Hmongs came before the Hans.

    • @mkkid12
      @mkkid12 9 років тому +1

      Aιмι Mιĸυ I'm sure the clothing is Southern Style Hanfu. As for Chu origins, it started in a marshland and expanded to the Yangzte River Valley which is where one of the main Hmong population resided. The Shang dynasty is interesting, because there have been research about the southern farming people of Shang, most notably the rice farming people who are hypothesis to be Hmong-Mien people, but until more research is done we can never be too sure.

    @彭竞 If it wasn't for Hmong people, the Hans would never became as advance as it would be back then. The Hmong people were skilled warrior and scholars. Inventing bronze smiting and all the musical instruments the Hans used. The Hmong people were peaceful farmer ,but when threaten we can become dangerous warriors. That's why the Hans had to ally with someone else to defeat us because the Hans were too weak by themselves.

    • @mkkid12
      @mkkid12 10 років тому

      Also the reason why Qu Yaun was written in Chinese because the Hans didn't want anyone to write in another language or they would be killed.
