The opening song off of the metal massacre III album by slayer titled Agressive Perfector. It would appear as a bonus song on the re-released Show No Mercy Album
@gbhjkkl It's the first song Slayer ever recorded; they got their record contract cause it was well received by the people who bought MMIII. Years later it got added to SNM and HtC as an extra track; the original versions of them didn't have it.
Hit the Lights definitely was NOT the heaviest song at the time. Look up a band called Holocaust (released heavier songs on their 1981 release), or Anvil's 1982 album, or anything Discharge released in 1981 and 1982. I can keep going btw.
@@richardrenner4875 what's weird is some pressings of Show No Mercy have it in the middle, like the original Canadian Vinyl pressing or the original CDs
the beginning sounds like - lets make a song like hit the lights....
i know right
This is slayer there way heavier than Metallica
@skeene_6824 heavier doesn't necessarily make it better
Classic recording, this was the first song I ever heard from SLAYER
Shit,i thought it was Hit The Lights...
Slayer were really young back then. But you can definatly here Tom Araya famous scream.
@@soberspeech4980 DEFINITELY****, not definately. HEAR******, not here. Dude, you really need to learn how to spell.
no shit dude, i was having Metal Massacre 1 flashbacks there for a moment.

Aggressive Perfector is far more better. Like Slayer is far more better than Metallica.
mediiskit U got that right. Slayer wanted to be Glam but when they saw Metallica change there ways
@@thomasackerly7732 last time I checked it was Metallica doing an album with lady gaga
way slower than the reign in blood remastered version but still tight
Nice, Tom sounds like Dio on some parts :D
i remenber when i start ,rear metal in 1982,cool

which song is their best
I recommend forged in fire album from anvil.
I declare Venom to be the heaviest band at this point in time.
Wow, the quality is pretty great for what this was.
It was the bonus song off of haunting the chapel i believe
Haunting the Chapel didn't exist yet...
this is the same version on Haunting The Chapel
It's a bonus track on remastered pressings
@@Vorticy135 yea, I bought the vinyl when it came out and it didn't have this song. Later I got the CD which has it.
