Yesss please. But in it give feedback how it would be for hyperpigmentation and dark spots on face. More and more people including myself are using concealer as a all in one and there not enough reviews giving that specific feedback. Sophia is so detailed and would be so helpful
I'm really loving Shiseido's Revitalessence Skin Glow Foundation. It is dewy, easy to apply and blends into the skin. I am dry/combo eczema prone skin type for reference. This is random but you really remind me of Anne Hathaway, just the blonde version lol.
Uuuh, so interested in this one..tell me everything please 😂...is it suitable for mature dry combination skin ?!How is the coverage?!Thank you so much for your help!By the way, do you know the Chantecaille Future Skin Gel Foundation?Bye,Steffi 😊
I think it's absolutely suitable for mature dry/combo skin. The coverage can be built up for sure but I don't think you can get a full coverage with it. To me, it has a light to medium coverage. I have heard lots of good things about Chantecaille's Future Skin but I haven't tried it yet, but it is on my list. @@stephaniepfaff3648
Helpful video. Just re-watched Devil wears Prada after a long time, and only then realized that Anne Hathaway was reminding me of someone else. Then I realized it was you. 😂 I’m sure I’m not the only person who has said that.
The ability to set down is so under rated. I still have flash back to that time I went to the chiropractor and had to peel my face off the paper on the table, and ALL my foundation and bronzer was left behind! Haha it was so brown and liquify and the assistant and I just kinda awkwardly looked at my face on the paper and pretended it wasn’t there!
This gave me a laugh! Reminds me of when I'm wearing a dewy base that won't set properly, and you know when someone comes in for a kind of hard hug (we greet by hugging in Norway) and your makeup transfers to the persons shoulder. Sooo embarrasing!
Well look at you still up and awake at 3am EST! The time change to Paris is a b****, the first time I flew over there I ended up passing out dead asleep on a fountain in the middle of the day and I was awoken by a bird pooping on my head 😅😂
The Saie is really good for dry skin, BUT you have to skip all the hydration before you apply the foundation (except the SPF, wait 15 min before applying the Saie), and then you will have a different experience and the Saie WILL set 👍
Hi Sophia! I absolutely love your channel and content I only just found your channel and you are a breath of fresh air! Much appreciation for all your thoughts and efforts 😍love from down under Australia 😘 xo
Interested in your thoughts on the Rituel de Fille 3 drop weightless serum foundation. I’ve been on the fence about Danessa’s skin tint, but you just gave me the push that I needed. Thanks for this excellent video. Please do one for concealers cuz there are way too many to try out right now!
I love this type of videos, Sofia and I appreciate your honesty. The best foundation I have in my collection is Guerlain Perure Gold matte foundation - it was released in Canada last year and it has been absolute favourite since then. It has very natural finish and amazing staying power. I discovered this year Tom Ford stick foundation - it’s not new, but new to me. It’s amazing - how easy on the go you can apply it and it’s absolutely undetectable on the skin while providing pretty good coverage. I was contemplating Hourglass skin tint, but after watching review decided against it. My favourite tinted moisturizer is Sisley, but I will probably pick up Danessa Myricks now! Thank you for another great video!
@@camilacosta8149it’s a very good foundation. So far it’s the best in my collection. I have mature, combination skin - more oily on y-zone and normal otherwise. I absolutely love it.
I had x'd out of getting the Glossier foundation last minute, but now I think I need it! The chanel les beiges vs No 1 is also interesting - I've found that my preference for them switches by season - I've loved the les beige through summer where I thought I didn't get on with it previously, but No1 is definitely the winner in winter. Thank you for your reviews as always. As someone who tends to go more all in on brands I haven't tried before, I'd be so interested to see a more general luxury brand ranking.
My fav foundation is dior forever matte ....its flawless. Followed by laura geller baked foundations because they are amazing for when my skin is having freak outs. Both wear amazing on oily skin
Hi Sofia, Because of you I tried Chantecaille Future skin and I love it. :)I with I can see how Prada foundation is but is not available in Australia. Please do a ranking fot concealer! 🤗
Merci mille fois for posting this from Gay Paree! I bought the Yummy Skin after your review and it is so incredible, so thank you! I did try the Chantecaille and tried to make it work for months, but it just never worked with my dry, mature skin, so I finally pitched it last week (same with the Chanel powder that never worked for me). It’s hard to throw away expensive products, but why waste valuable real estate in your collection for something that just doesn’t work for you? 😢 Always appreciate your content: so honest, informative, and entertaining. Enjoy, à tout à l'heure! 🎉
Maturing and dry skin over here! The 4 I keep coming back to are Sublimage (hit the nail on the head about it being nurishing) for my dry winter , DM Yummy Skin Tint for my swampy summers, and Guerlain Terracotta and Chantecaille Future Skin Gel for anytime. Love em tons. I really want to try the Glossier now too Hourglass was such a let down. Thought it would be great for my dry skin but it just stayed so gloopy. It was a magnet for any fuzz or cat hair within a mile radius😬
It’s been so overwhelming navigating the new makeup releases this year, these comparison and ranking videos are so helpful! Could you share how the Danessa yummy skin tint compares to the Chantecaille future skin in terms of coverage and finish? I already own and love the Chantecaille as my everyday foundation thanks to your glowing reviews, and am now wondering if the Danessa is worth picking up as it looks like a dewier option, or is Chantecaille still holy grail for you?
Hi Sofia, wowwww, I was waiting for the drumroll of what you picked for #1 which was Danessa Myricks skin tint !! Ques: do you use a primer under this or just a moisturizer? Also, have you tried Armani Luminous Foundation oil free yet ? I have Oily T-zone and dry skin so this video really helped me.
I’m curious to try that prada foundation - how do you think it would do over fine lines and slight texture? I find glowy foundations accentuate them lately 😩 so hoping something Demi-matte might work better
Chanel Healthy glow foundation is my holy grail . I need hydration!!!! I didn't get hype of Hourglass as yes it was dewy but didn't sit that great in pores and lines for that price. I am SHOCKED Dynessa is #1😮. Mature skin here. Lines and pores are issue should I go to Dynessa or Glossier?
First of all, thanks for doing this kind of video. You explained and showed each product with pro and con. BUT most of all, finally someone compared the hourglass tint vs the yummy DM tint. I’ve been torn between the two and most have given a good review, especially for the hourglass one. But I agree with you that is seems a bit too glowy for me yet everyone loved it. The result has been to not get either. During the summer I’ve been loving the Chanel les beiges water tint but now going into fall I think the yummy tint will be the way to go. Also tempted by the Prada but I do have the Chanel No 1 foundation which I think I’ll use for now. Thanks again 😀
I recently used caliray and it amazed me. Clé de peau fondation , the one in glass with pump and has two finishes , glowing and Matt. I heard good things about them as well as Givenchy glow fondation.
I wonder if you might like the Chanel Sublimage in the winter when the weather is dryer? I find I wear that and the Cle de Peau (in the jar that costs a MILLION dollars) in the colder months more. Then again, I powder EVERY foundation as well as spray with setting spray . . . ALOT! Did I miss the Prada?
LOL I heard your disclaimer at the beginning and was like “ok- true true” and then you said your least fav was the Saie and I literally gasped 😂😂😂 I LOVE how forgiving Saie is on my dry patches and texture- same for the Chanel No.1 foundation. I’m excited to try the Glossier and Prada! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing Seth! I knew someone was going to have better luck than me 😅 that’s good for me to know though cause I can mention that for other people
I don't like too glowy, so I agree with your opinion on the Saie one, I also did not like the Mario one. The Nars light reflecting foundation, Dr Jart BB cream and Make up forever powder foundation are my faves so far
Great video, Sofia. I dont really like too much foundations. My absolutely favorite is Valmont Majestique serum foundation , the one that more creamier, there are two types. Another more for oily skin. I am thinking to get as well and mix them, but i like to mix with Chanel les beiges highlighting fluid. And for winter, i like Chanel long wear one. Also love the OG one Chanel water fresh, but i am very intrigued by Prada, and waiting to get it, once it comes to US, but really loosing my patience, and might going to order from Harrods.🤪🤔 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

Thank you, Sofia. I always love your video. Now I consider buying your top 2 foundations. But I have been thinking one of the foundations that is Zen Wear foundation from Decorte. If you have a chance to try and review it, I really want to know your opinion. It says semi-matte finish, long-lasting medium-full coverage, and 40 shades.

Is that new one? I'm mature skin and always looking for smoothing that gives good coverage but does not emphasize my pores laugh lines. I was thinking of looking into the recent Laura M foundation. Is it good with not settling 🤔?
I have never disliked a product as much as the Jones Road balm -it’s the most terrible foundation I’ve ever tried and I have given it so many tries. But I really wanted to love it 😢. Sucks when that happens.
