A born artist, magnetism is off the charts! I am addicted to Vitas for many many years. This concert is my favorite, watching it without ads thanks to special youtube membership is a blessing. I only wish That I could dress Vitas in some elegant more appropriate for him clothing. He is spectacular singer, but designing his own outfits is a big mistake, imagine him in a well fitting Armani - aaaah.... Anyway, I am so so grateful for his voice.
He doesn't design his own stage clothes, that's one of his producer's fake stories for PR. Most of his costumes were designed and handmade by Yuri Ars (he's credited in the description of this video)

Your collections even include some of his failed playback scenes. May I ask why you are doing so? He's credited in the 2002 concert video and the first albums and singles. An exception is the Blessed Guru costume, which was created by some Sergey, I forgot the last name now. Secondly, thanks for your words about my channel, although my dedication to it has decreased considerably in the last few years. I am currently more focused into my second channel, Vitas Live Archive. My mentality about the playback thing has changed compared to a couple of years ago. I used to point his fails all the time, now I just enjoy the show. I was 14 when I created this channel, now I am 18. It's funny that this channel is called "DB". My second channel Live Archive is way more like a database.

But the gap in fashion taste and design aesthetic is noticeable. i have a question do they get the instrumental and the voice from the actual concert or they mixed it with some few studio version. cause I've noticed that it's a concert and i should be reverbing or echoing or something but it sounds like the studio versions, i don't doubt that vitas sings live but the audio layered over the concert sounds like the studio once. and the sound of the crowd sounds it sounds like it was just layered into the audio. does anyone know how they did this. and lastly i've noticed that there is no amateur recordings i could find of this concert do they not allow to upload it or they did not allow to have the audiences to have cameras recording him. there is some pictures of him in this concert but i couldn't find like an amateur shot of the concert and what it sounded back there
The music you hear comes from the concert, there is nothing else added. Vitas' band uses the studio backing track for most songs, and they overdub it with live instrumentation. That way they achieve a richer sound, while still giving the "live" feel. Many bands use backing tapes and there's nothing wrong with that. In some songs where Vitas lip syncs, they just use the album track as the backing, but in others the vocal plays in its "dry" state, from a different channel, without all the mixing and reverb involved in the album track, which gives more of a "live" feel as well, sounds more like it's coming from a live microphone. The problem with this recording and almost every other officially recorded Vitas concerts, is that they usually remove the live band from the mix or make it a lot quieter, giving more prominence to the studio backing track, which, in my opinion, takes all the sense out of a concert recording and backfires on Vitas which is later accused of being a fake concert artist. When it's actually quite the opposite, if you see amateur cameras and listen to how good his live sound was. The only added sound in this recording that I'm aware of, is the crowd sound. It is sampled from somewhere else and edited onto the music. If you try removing the center sounds from the stereo field and leave only the sides, it reveals the original crowd sound, which isn't as distracting. If you listen carefully, you can hear the crowd sound in this recording loop itself and also sounds DURING the songs, which is something that almost never happened in Vitas' concerts. Vitas always had respecting crowds. About the amateur recordings. Sadly, even though Vitas was at his peak of popularity in Russia during that time (early to mid 2000s), amateur recordings of his tour concerts have never really surfaced properly on the Internet. At that time, because of the low speed connection, fans only posted short fragments from their amateur cameras very reduced in quality (Windows Media format at no more than 240p, you know). Only TWO complete concert recordings from that time is currently available, and those are Vitebsk 2001 (uncovered by me in 2021) and Kazan 2003, which is in circulation since many years ago in terrible VHS quality, but my friends and I are purchasing in good quality soon from the archives of the TV channel that filmed it. Other than those two, we have the Kremlin 2002 recording, which is missing the instrumental interludes and probably one or two more Vitas tracks, and this one, which is also missing the instrumental interludes, as well as the issues previously exposed. i have a question do they get the instrumental and the voice from the actual concert or they mixed it with some few studio version. cause I've noticed that it's a concert and i should be reverbing or echoing or something but it sounds like the studio versions, i don't doubt that vitas sings live but the audio layered over the concert sounds like the studio once. and the sound of the crowd sounds it sounds like it was just layered into the audio. does anyone know how they did this. and lastly i've noticed that there is no amateur recordings i could find of this concert do they not allow to upload it or they did not allow to have the audiences to have cameras recording him. there is some pictures of him in this concert but i couldn't find like an amateur shot of the concert and what it sounded back there
The music you hear comes from the concert, there is nothing else added. Vitas' band uses the studio backing track for most songs, and they overdub it with live instrumentation. That way they achieve a richer sound, while still giving the "live" feel. Many bands use backing tapes and there's nothing wrong with that. In some songs where Vitas lip syncs, they just use the album track as the backing, but in others the vocal plays in its "dry" state, from a different channel, without all the mixing and reverb involved in the album track, which gives more of a "live" feel as well, sounds more like it's coming from a live microphone. The problem with this recording and almost every other officially recorded Vitas concerts, is that they usually remove the live band from the mix or make it a lot quieter, giving more prominence to the studio backing track, which, in my opinion, takes all the sense out of a concert recording and backfires on Vitas which is later accused of being a fake concert artist. When it's actually quite the opposite, if you see amateur cameras and listen to how good his live sound was.
The only added sound in this recording that I'm aware of, is the crowd sound. It is sampled from somewhere else and edited onto the music. If you try removing the center sounds from the stereo field and leave only the sides, it reveals the original crowd sound, which isn't as distracting.
If you listen carefully, you can hear the crowd sound in this recording loop itself and also sounds DURING the songs, which is something that almost never happened in Vitas' concerts. Vitas always had respecting crowds.
About the amateur recordings. Sadly, even though Vitas was at his peak of popularity in Russia during that time (early to mid 2000s), amateur recordings of his tour concerts have never really surfaced properly on the Internet. At that time, because of the low speed connection, fans only posted short fragments from their amateur cameras very reduced in quality (Windows Media format at no more than 240p, you know). Only TWO complete concert recordings from that time is currently available, and those are Vitebsk 2001 (uncovered by me in 2021) and Kazan 2003, which is in circulation since many years ago in terrible VHS quality, but my friends and I are purchasing in good quality soon from the archives of the TV channel that filmed it. Other than those two, we have the Kremlin 2002 recording, which is missing the instrumental interludes and probably one or two more Vitas tracks, and this one, which is also missing the instrumental interludes, as well as the issues previously exposed.
