Great memories! I remember hearing Kiss from VFL Park and David Bowie too. Also Rollerama and The Wog Shop with Mr and Mrs P. Remember the rodeos on Cathies Lane and the dirt bike track on George St
Brilliant! You must've grown up there in the same era as I did. Bringing home stuff from the tip, the Charles & Di crowd, Rollerama, Caribbean Gardens...so many memories
Awesome. Thx for the memories. Spent every sun at Carro & fri nites at rollerama. And who can’t forget pinball at Mrs P’s. Plus swimming lessons at the pool
Gold. I kept my horses on the opposite corner to Green Acres - where they guy had a painting of the palomino horse on a sign. My mum did that painting for him.
Love your work Jason great trip down memory lane still remember the Scoresby hall and also the little supermarket and bottle shop on the corner of ferntree gully road and stud road owned by minachili also still remember the Scoresby swimming pool and Trevor Flood Motorcycles 😎👍👍
Jase--you should mentioned all the dodgy stuff you could get at the big market there...cheap chop chop, bootleg cassettes and videos, home brew, weed seeds, levis made in bangla desh, imported reptiles to name a few.
deeply disturbingly accurate.
Love it. Brilliant song. Lived in Scoresby from 71-86.
Brilliant Jase - great memories all captured in one song. 💯🎶🌟

Love it! I lived there through the 90's and pretty much had the same experiences. But... What about the milkbar on Berrabri?

Mrs P's shop? Which one was that? I definitely heard Kiss from VFL park :)
Hi Mon
It's not there anymore but was in Scoresby Vllage right behind the football ground Club rooms. It probably hasn't been there since the 1980s.
