- In this episode, Lisa and Trini went to Museum of Natural History to determine if a bone is a dinosaur or not. Lisa went white water rafting with a geologist and a ranger to learn about mountains and such, and visit a site in Utah where they discovered fossils and the National Park Service shows her how the process works in removing it very carefully. In addition, certain museums make copies of bones fossils and shows how it was made. As an added bonus The Bloodhoung Gang in "The Case of the 264 Pound burglar."

This brings back SO many good childhood memories! Being a latchkey kid, shows like this were a mainstay. Back when life was simpler...honest....pure. 38 years later....and the world has gone to crap. So sad.
People felt the same way back then.
I was a latchkey kid too. I remember coming home from school and firing up my Atari and shooting some space aliens until 3-2-1 Contact came on. Great memories.
After the original trio left, I didn't watch a lot of the show but overall it's a great show. The Bloodhound Gang segments were great too.
40 years ago.. I wonder if they look back in these episodes and think about their youthful selves.
When Trini and Lisa visited the Museum of Natural History together I wondered if it is the only episode where more than one cast member went on an external visit? I loved the three original young adult hosts and I was very disappointed when they replaced them with kids. They are just so naturally wholesome. The show had funding problems and did not return until 1983, so maybe Trini, Lisa, and Mark were too old?
I am from Chile and I remember this programme dubbed in Spanish , amazing programme so much knowledge and science treated in a funny entertaining way , pity that Television turned into crap celebrity , gossip , reality , tabloid programmes , a real sad world we live . Lucky we can still go back to those nice and simpler honest times ! .
Ever occur to you that maybe they moved onto others things?
@@MIKECNW I saw Lisa in a couple of commercials after 321; Mark had some small parts in movies; Trini does not have any acting credits after 321. It was the biggest role of their lives - the show was seen internationally and made the cover of TV Guide, so they surely would have returned if asked.
@@protamine4 There are a couple of credits that are listed for Gini. (wich is her actual name) and no matter what you don't know for sure whether they would of agreed to return or not.
About 25 years later, we had the Build Team, aka, M7, in "MythBusters".
The three leads were so likable and natural. Always fun to spend some time visiting them, both when I was a little kid, and today. Great music on this show, too.
Uh oh, looks like Trini found Jimmy Hoffa.
In my freshman year of high school in 1980, I thought Trini was hot.
You weren’t alone brotha… I had a deep crush on Trini for a long time
I was 10 in 80 and she was an early crush…
All together now..."Geology ROCKS!"
1:55 Hey, it's Billy Barty!
