How do I know, before I start mixing, that my arrangement (song) is ready and looks solid? That I don’t need to add more tools, or vice versa, it’s better to add tools. Should there be quality right away and how close should the sound be to the final result? How to understand whether there are enough tracks or not enough? Аre there certain main rules for the texture of the arrangement?
I would love to give you some short and sweet answers here, but these are big questions needing kind of involved answers. All except the last question are answered in the 24 Hour Song course. For your last question, check out our Puppetmaster bundle (that's 30 hours of content, just talking about how to make an arrangement come together).
Some ideas. The original felt very bossa nova inspired. I think you gave it a more modern poppy feel but I was missing the guitar. Maybe placing the guitar in the intro and bridge would be a nice starting point to build the energy up. I love a vamp and the ending was definitely trending that direction. Maybe for the final chorus you could add some staccato trumpets to play around the backing vocals. I'm also thinking a sustained high E to F# in the vocal to sit on top.
I've used it for about 18 years now. I'm just most comfortable in it. Ableton Live or Studio One might be better, but I don't have the time to relearn a DAW, and Logic does everything I want it to.
i can hear the ai supported script creation. i dont mind though, at least you spiced it up with some of your own words. and yes i can hear it beause i use it a lot myself 😂helpfull and good video overall

Very helpful, thanks for sharing.
What do you like about Logic? How long have you been sitting on it? I'm at studio one now
