I've never really gave R&B a serious listen as a teen. In fact, if Adele would've been on radio during my youth the channel would've been immediately switched to a rock station. Now that I have mellowed, the woman that you just presented would be a top choice for my easy listening taste. You have introduced me to an incredible talent and again I thank you, sir.

I’ve watched C O U N T L E S S reaction videos for this master-class album, 30. Yours is, by far, one of my favorites! It was a JOY to watch and it made me so happy. I pegged Oh My God as the 2nd single early on, and I humbly declare I was correct. 😘 To Be Loved…even after all this time…remains a “must-listen-daily” song. I get chills, tears and feel like a wrung-out dish-rag every single time I hear it. I think the album is a STORY that is best listened to from start to finish. Thank you! 🙌🏻❤️
Adele is literally my queen so I’ve listened to this album 50 million times but watching this makes me love it even more and I didn’t think that was possible! I love how you break down the songs and how you talk about her vocally because I agree 100 percent she’s managed to create this lane for herself and that people can’t be in and i love that for her. I’m literally obsessed!
After her latest vocal problems (and I think also because the fact she's now a mother), she went on a total 180 flip in caring for her vocal health. Before, Adele was a heavy smoker and was utilising unhealthy habits in her singing, but it's really clear she's worked her arse off these last few years retraining and changing her habits to take better care of herself. She's always had a great tone to her voice, but what she is doing now is so much healthier than what she did before - so if she keeps this up then her vocals should last a long time because she already knows how to moderate herself (by not going at it constantly and giving herself a break every now and then). All the greats who've been in the industry for decades have done the same. Make some music; take some time away; come back and release more music; take another break; etc. I love the vibe to '30'. It reminds me of Winehouse and I think this is the direction of music genre that she would have went in if she were still alive today. But there's definitely a gap for this in the market.
this is her best album so far!! I loved 19, 21 and 25 but this is next level!! to be loved, little love and hold on!! if you don’t feel those, my goodness!!! Can I get it is the weakest track and even it is good. she truly gave us everything on this album and I can't stop listening to it. Everything about this album is my favorite! The variety of genres, the writing, the production, the execution, is all just perfect. I feel like she has REALLY grown into the gift she shares with us every few years. From beginning to end, it's like watching a journey from start to finish. No one in this ERA gets its like Adele.
I wanna thank you because I’ve been just trying to listen to her songs on UA-cam and I’ve only heard a handful of the songs from the new album, so I’m watching everything with you, lol. I’m gonna go back to her UA-cam channel and listen to everything again!
I agree with you saying she always stayed in her comfort zone vocally especially on 21 and 25 she found what works best and ran with it. Which was still amazing beautiful vocals but it was a lot of the same style. I don't know if you're familiar with 19 but she was very experimental on that album as well, every song was sung differently. But I have to say she has never been more dynamic with her vocals than on 30 and changing up the genres too, definitely her best album imo and AOTY.

Vocally powerful no. That's not where she resides at. Which is why I think she's never done the national anthem. She is very soulful and her voice is extremely beautiful and that alone is what blows people away not that she's giving you a jennifer hudosn or Whitney like power. Her highest belt is an F5 correct? She has a very hard time reaching that and that's ok. Because she's IMPECCABLE in other areas but if you were to scale her note for note. Which I've done a video on that she won't win that. Adele has a voice that gets in your soul. That's what her voice does

@@ThatSingerReactions Adele is not about the range but the depth and authenticity of her voice, which is very very emotive, and carries a lot of weight in the kind of songs she is best known for. In a way, the immense success she experienced with 21 almost boxed her in, and if her career had followed a more conventional trajectory to success, she would probably have made more music, in more eclectic styles, than has actually been the case. It's hard to grow when there is such an enormous weight of expectation bearing down, and Adele spent much of the next 10 years trying to find a way to be normal, and not be consumed by fame. With 30, I think we heard her experimenting with her sound, and her style, and while it may not have sold as well as 21 and 25 (it's all relative) she was much more satisfied personally with this album. She can certainly make a fuckload of noise when she leans into it, but she also found more lightness and agility on 30, which she used to be even more expressive. She is not Beyoncé, whom she obviously worships, so she would never compare herself to her. When it comes to being herself, however, she does that really, really well. Power in artistic terms comes in many guises.

@@ThatSingerReactions Strangers by Nature was the first track. It's not anything crazy vocally, but on a whole album listen it's a great intro paired with Love is a Game at the end. They both have that 50/60s cinematic flair to open and close the album.

I agree with you about the vocal coaches. I hate watching them with holy than thou ideas. Adele appeals because her voice is REAL. So what if she cracks? We do too when emotional. I don't see vocal coaches selling millions of albums so they need to get off high horses.
I have those albums lol I like them but to me because of the direction this album went. There's not much of that R&B I love on those albums like this one

That song IS a masterpiece, period. The voice notes were crucial to the message of the song. It all works together perfectly.
