I got back from an early morning tour of Girona today with my little sister. It was quite breathtaking experiencing actual sets of my favorite tv series especially the Sept of Baelor stairs. We took a lot of photos to remember this experience. :)
Girona is great! It's so cool to see places from Game of Thrones in real life.. :D
It really is! Have you been to any other Game of Thrones Filming Locations around the world?
I was awed by the sheer size and physical presence of the imposing cathedral..stunning staircase.maybe 90 steps. Fun vid.
I'm from Barcelona, I visit some times Girona, thanks for this video. I like it so much.
My paternal ancestors were from this region of Spain. I'll be visiting Girona in a few more days.🙂
Two of my ancestors are buried inside the cathedral, two Puig brothers, Gaufred de Puig who died “8 Gener de 1339” (8 January 1339), and Guillem de Puig who died “24 de Juny 1348” (24 June 1348), “les anime dels quals reposin en pau” or (Let them rest in peace).
The Sept of Balor, I have to go there and see that place. That’s an awesome episode, better than the finale..lol
Only 38 Minutes from Barcelona!
Mr Maniquis, let me know when you are in town as I will offer you an FOC location tour of Game of Throne...thanks
@mike martinez how do we get a hold of you for tours?
Whoaaaahhhh game of thrones fanatic here! I'm so lucky been in that place as well.
That is AWESOME! Such a great place to visit. Thanks for watching Fil Spanish!
Was in Girona about 15 yrs ago way before GOT. Great city, go to Roses & Cadaquez if you can too. 👌
Roses and Cadaques is definitely on my list!
This is so cool! And damn! Tito is dressed like a genuine guido! You go, Tito!
haha Tito was stylin! Thanks for watching Aaron!
Great effort in filming this video Jaycation! Thanks so much for sharing GOT film location! I can't wait to see it real soon in person!
Gracias mi mama
GOT fan here...Been to Girona 2yrs ago...glad we did a day trip from barcelona...looking forward to our Croatia trip next week! 😅
Hi Tes! Enjoy your trip to Croatia.... aka King's Landing! Such a beautiful country
Researching Girona and this popped up :)
Yesss showing up in the search results means the SEO worked!! haha
I like your job 👍🏻
I love my job too. Thanks!
Seems I covered the same spots on my channel. Luckily I didn't miss anything. Great coverage.
Planning on going to Girona for the Game of Thrones tour in November - do you recommend a day trip from Barcelona or is there enough to see in Girona to stay a few days in the town of Girona? Also, are there local GOT tours that can be booked when already in Girona? We've only seen the GOT tours as day trips from Barcelona. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! .... by the way, great episode! This episode convinced me to put Girona back on our itinerary. After the disappointing finale to GOT, we scratched the Barcelona leg and opted instead to stay longer in Madrid / Lisbon. But after seeing this - well, now I think I want to go to Girona! Thanks for a great video :)
Hi! Yeah the finale was definitely disappointing but the locations are still fun to visit! I would definitely say just do a day trip to Girona from Barcelona. You can roam around the city in 1 day and take the train back to barcelona. That way youre not bringing your luggage to another city and having to carry it around. With Barcelona only being about 38 minutes away, its a short trip back!
Oh nice, im here too may i kniw the felipino guy?
Il be in Girona next month!!
Nice! Enjoy your time there. It will be hot so dress cool and hydrate!
@@Jaycation not so shame shame shame i will😁thanks for the tips😀
What time did you go there? only few people
I was there around 8-10am. Right before all the tourists started arriving. It was also a week day.
You have to take the 08:30 Fast train departure from Barcelona to be able to roam the King's Landing with on your own!
mike martinez
Sir, how much is the tour? I'll be flying to Barcelona on the 29th of October and plan to go at Girona :)
