Anybody that complains about pausing... should not be watching a REACTION CHANNEL! This battle is insane - Drake dropped and it was what you would expect from Drake, then KDot had one in the clip and dropped a little bit ago and it is vicious!
He took Millie Bobby Brown in yacht in a marina when she was 13. And when madison beer was 17 she said she was at a party at drake’s house and a girl bumped on drake and had spilled wine coolers on drake’s white outfit or something. I think drake only likes wine coolers too
This song sounded like the prayer warriors make to God , asking for forgiveness for the blood they’re about to spill, before going to war. Kendrick is sonning Drake, but he’s also continuing the theme that Drake doesn’t know himself and is have an identity crisis from constantly twisting himself into different personas. Most people, especially black have a different way of moving (presenting themselves) between work and home. But Drake is constantly changing himself physically, verbally, etc for different occasions. Basically, Drake can’t accept himself whatever/whoever that person may be.
I guess I got to accept the fact that i'm an old head now because I love this. Also, you MRLBoyd are like an encyclopedia. None of the other reactors that I watch caught this much.
This beat is so hard. Its him saying, let me put my kids to bed, ask God for forgiveness for whats coming, and telling Drake this is the warning, step and I'm at your neck.
6/16 is everywhere making Kednrick the real 6 GOD! 6/16 is when the show "Euphoria" aired 6/16 is when the OJ trial started ( hence the glove) 6/16 is Tupac's birthday 6/16 is Father's day 🫣
The glove has nothing to do with OJ idiot. The picture of the glove was tooken inside drakes house, the point of the cover is to tell Drake that he has snitches in OVO
When he says Know the wires in your circle should puzzle you - K is SO purposeful with every word - even the whops in Not Like Us represent the 10 tracks he had ready- i really wonder what significance PUZZLE has. Also, when he's talking about the leak he says Find the jewels and now EbonyPrince2k24 is taking about diamonds.
Jeraminah 6:16 "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’" This is probably in reference to his line "who am i if i don't go to war?", battling with his need to be seen as a "good person" while knowing what his inner morality is telling him to defend. In fact, from Ephesians to Revelations all the 6:16 quotes just sound like call backs to this whole situation. This also ties in to when he says "i make music that electrify em, you make music that pacify them" because you literally have to read the bible to understand just how hard this song goes, further layering onto the moral high ground Kendrick is taking against drake.
You're one of my favorite reactors BECAUSE you stop every line or so. You notice soooo much more than most of these guys just off an initial listen. That is part of YOUR reaction to what you're listening to and the amount of knowledge that gets triggered out of your brain is part of that - which means you gotta stop and get out the thought or it's hard to come back to it. As an ADHDer, I feel that, so you really are my pace and I love soaking up what you know. It's so fun. Keep doing you man.
I have a different interpretation of the shooting star verse. I think he's saying that his art comes from his upbringing, his introspection, his struggle with the culture but the culture at its core was love and elevates him. It comes at a cost, everything he talked about on Mr. Morale. Fame degrades Kendrick's soul. Which is why he lives in the circadian rhythm of a shooting star, dead and quiet most of the time but flashes where he lights up the night sky and reminds everyone there's interstellar magic out there.
New Drake this technically came after this (Family Matters) but then 15 minutes later Kendrick dropped ANOTHER ONE (Meet the Grahams). You gonna have content to hold you for the next week 😂
Please react to what's the dirt 6:16 in LA breakdown.... very revealing because at first listen people didnt think that he was dissing Drake at all in the first verse when in fact its actually heavily layered and exposes alot of Drakes creepy pdf behavior
I wish ya'll would recommend this man more Kendrick to react to lol. He has so many brilliantly written songs like "Sing about me, I'm dying of thirst" which might be his greatest written song ever. or even "Maad City" ft MC Eiht
Man, this started off friendly competition but both of them pressed the red button at the same time on their back pocket diss....and cole is in the underground bunker livin his best life
I knew nothing about Kedrick... but when he was sing rapping that prayer I knew immediately that Estelle was his Grandma.... nobody covers you like your grandma.
Kind of funny that you Didn’t like the “Sing Song-E” parts 😂 i know it’s a diss track but I love that part of the song.. I think the instrumental fits that singing so fucken fire bruh 🔥 ❤
Late to the party but I heard a theory that the first part of this track is Kendrick speaking from Drake’s perspective, flaunting his ability to by yachts and drinking wine coolers (there’s clips out there of Drake admitting his drink of choice is wine coolers). Then when it gets to “God, my confession is yours”, it goes back to Kendrick speaking from his own perspective.
@mrlboydmusic Really enjoyed your reaction to Euphoria. My first time hearing you, and I wanted to hear your take on 6:16. This diss was rough for me. I'm new to rap/hip hop but Lamar's pen lured me in. I wanted to share the info "What's the Dirt" gave on this song. I think you'll like it.
I may be reaching but I took the line about MJ to mean he wasn't careful who he trusted and look what happened to him. The Dr should never have left him alone. I think Kendrick is sunning him but at the same time giving him a heads up too.
My man is on time and simultaneously 2 tracks behind
You know how funny that shit is. Being on time and late at the same time lmfao
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Bruh😂😂🤦🏿♂️
More behind than that now lol
Imagine posting this the same day, and still being 2 songs behind. 🤣 These MFs are going wild.
2?! What else did I miss besides family matters lmao
Shits getting real af also. They might start throwing out each other's SSN's soon if it gets bad enough lol
@@connoranastasio kendrick just dropped as well
Called meet the Grahams
@@connoranastasioDot dropped 15 minutes after "family ties" 😂😂
Circadian rhythm of a shooting star. I don't come around much but when I do, you'll love it.

Literally I don't get it. Why watch if you don't entre to hear the reactors opinions? I love the pausing and digesting each bar
I guess I’m in the minority here but I really enjoy when you stop often and break down every bar😂
Same
Same, idk why people dislike that
Agreed, if I just wanted to listen to the song I would go listen to this song
He took Millie Bobby Brown in yacht in a marina when she was 13. And when madison beer was 17 she said she was at a party at drake’s house and a girl bumped on drake and had spilled wine coolers on drake’s white outfit or something. I think drake only likes wine coolers too

Yep!
your breakdowns are amazingly deep and its like im taking a collage class in beef!
I guess I got to accept the fact that i'm an old head now because I love this. Also, you MRLBoyd are like an encyclopedia. None of the other reactors that I watch caught this much.
1:45 bro who cares stop as many times as you need, its your videos. most of us are here for the breakdown and reaction anyway
Yeah, if you want to listen to the song just listen to the song, not the breakdown of the song
Really dope part about this Drake’s uncles were a part of this song he sampled they played the bass and guitar
Kendrick gave us some good songs. Felt like he cleansed my music pallet and got me back on track with real music. I throughly enjoyed this.
The fact that you got here same day and you're missing 15 minutes of diss tracks already 😂
What a wonderful thing love is. 1972
I’m 53 and grew up with it.

Thanks for pausing so often to help people like me understand the references.
They really did 2 more tracks THEYRE GOING CRAZY…. Also Kendrick just murdered Drake 🕊️
Back to back to back to back and back again 😂😂😂 catch up 🤣

Bro shouldn't have crush the van. He needed it.

Glad you caught the very first bar, most people let it get by them
Your calzone order is on point.
For real. Making me hungry
Drake drop 1, K droped 2. Drake drops again, Kendric drops a classic album.

As some one born in 2001, this is actually my most favorite track of the disses
That piano on meet the graham's will haunt me forever.
Bro, every single one of these lines is a subliminal at Drake while also being a very true statement for Kendrick
Love you breaking down the bars pause whenever you like
I really loved the details in this reaction. A lot of people felt like this didn’t hit as a diss but there is actually so much in here 🔥🔥🔥
My first like my last one, a classic ... his first verse teddy, this one is Al...

Teddy pendergrass and Al green samples (classics)

Apparently the al green sample is a knock towards drake because his uncle is on the drums
I think the Al Green song is “What a Wonderful Thing Love Is” for anyone wondering
Wearing a TMNT shirt and saying the 2 Raphael’s is crazy. There are clearly 3 and one is TMNT.

We need you back asap!! We need that Meet the Grahams reaction 😂🔥
Another track was released today by Kendrick called “meet the grahams”
Fun fact: the guitar on Al Green’s song is played by Drake’s uncle.
