Man I love the little detail that Vulture was just getting absolutely plastered by Peter even with the other 4 to back him up. Definitely shows he's Peter's longest running supervillain. Peter knows his move before he makes it. Subtle character building.
Gotta respect Yuri Lowenthals performance in this scene. The pain in his voice almost felt as if someone in the booth was actually beating the shit out of him. I was terrified of this scene first time through.
Just a friendly reminder. Peter is controlling his strength just enough to not punch holes and/or break/fracture multiple bones in multiple areas fighting these villains. Most underrated aspect of Spider-Man's greatness.

Ninja Goobie The dude can lift 25 tons. Vulture, Martin Li, doc ock and electro are all normal humans other than the fact that they have power. They are as durable as an average guy (well probably not mr negative) by that logic, he could have easily taken their heads off. In the comics he holds back his punches so he doesn’t instantly kill his enemies.

Otherwise it wouldnt take him so much effort to lift/stop cars in the street like he does in this game. One thing I respect about Spider-man writers. They balance him, not OP and sometimes loses fight. But always learns from his mistakes and comes back. Whereas other heroes like Thor, Superman, Captain Marvel etc are always OP most of the time and it makes very boring stories.
You do know that Spider-Man can very well be OP when he actually wants to be, right? He pulls his punches back because if not, he will kill someone because he is that strong. Don’t forgot about his amazing speed too. He kinda can be OP.
A few of the cutscenes near the end of the game are brutal. Like that time Doc Ock smashed Peter around after he beat Mr. Negative. He almost died because of that. And during a cutscene during the final battle, Doc Ock literally stabs Pete through the heart. And right before that, he clutches and electrifies Peter's wrists and break his web shooters. Sorry for the paragraph, I just love this game and it's atmosphere so much.
This is definitely one of my favorite cutscenes in the entire game. The way Spider-Man gets destroyed really makes you feel the sheer hopelessness and defeat in this scene. Not to mention the whole buildup leading to Doc Ock's reveal. Once you finish watching it, you realize that things have only gone from bad to worse 👌💯
Honestly scorpion is the real difference-maker in this scene. The rest of the villains are all really dangerous but spidey can handle them even when hes outnumbered. But scorpion's the one who actually gets that big shot in and brings him down to his knees.
I like how Peter was still fresh at the beginning of this fight, and was actually managing to deal with them before getting stung by Scorpion. Shows how strong and experienced he's gotten over the years. Would've been cool if he actually cut loose all the way and starting showing off some more of that brute strength of his. Like palm striking Scorpion into that antenna hard enough to leave a huge dent, or something like that. I also like the implied difference in his condition as the game goes on from here. Fighting all over the city non stop, defeating 4 members of the six in pairs, and finally defeating Martin with 14 broken bones, exhausted, and with god knows how many other injuries. Would've been tough as hell fighting those guys all at once in that condition, not even including Otto yet. Then there's the ass whooping he almost died from during his second encounter with Dock Ock. They really had him go all out in this game.
Honestly I feel what you said in the part about him showing off more of his brute strength. If I was Spider-Man and 6 of my worst enemies were fighting me all at once, I probably would've gotten stressed and desperate to the point that I get a lot more violent 😅

Spiderman was so good.He is lonely yet managed to take all of them for a good time before getting attacked from behind cowardly. He reminds me Batman, despite being the only hero protect the city of many villains, he still did very well against them

Avengers is more so a world wide threat.. however, Spider-Man is based in New York, so Spidey is the first line of defense. If he goes down, it’s up to someone else to step in. But like I said, this isn’t a world wide threat so I don’t see why the Avengers would go down there in the first place

Considering how easily he clapped Scorpion, I could see him take down Vulture and Electro, especially Electro considering the fact that as powerful he legitimately is he likes playing around way too much.
The weight of this whole sequence can't be understated. Especially on following playthroughs. Knowing that Otto knows that Pete is Spiderman and still does what he does is an awful feeling. This kind of scene encompasses everything I love about Spiderman as a character. He's a TRUE hero. Even in the face of impossible odds, facing SIX supervillians alone, he doesn't hesitate to take the fight. Because he knows there's no one else who can stop them
While watching this: Wait, Vulture, Rhino, Mister Negative, Scorpion and Electro? That makes five... where’s *Doctor Octopus appears* Then it hit me... THE SINISTER SIX
This is one of my favorite scenes. The payoff of when Ock finally went bad mixed with the voice acting and the incredible acting on everyone's parts. I wasn't expecting everyone to break out, but all the details you notice new ones every time you watch it. This is one of my absolute favorite video games
The tear running down Otto's eye...man that was so tragically good I mean, it could be the rain, but I dunno...given how close Peter & Otto were in the game, I wouldn't doubt it was a tear.
Ummm nope being stung by a very venomous scorpion was worse, I was declared dead for nearly 3 minutes due to breathing difficulties. Lego you can walk away from stepping on a lego
poodie he had already thrown him off the building into the water. Why would he do that only to go all the way back down to “end him”? Plus he literally just gave him a warning to stay out of their way. It would make no sense to say that and then kill him. This is nothing more than a dramatic shot to end the scene.
Ethan Aguirre the hesitation was the indication of Otto preferring not to kill spider-man whom he suspected to be peter by just throwing him away and still maintaining his frame in front of the six
He’s right the dr had a hunch after he found him and thought he was working for Spider-Man. But this scene implies from the look he has he believes that’s Peter but isn’t sure so he technically did save him
Penguinsaredumb Yes but he still let Spiderman live. Mr. Negative specifically says "He said not to kill him" referring to Doc Ock ordering them not to kill Spiderman. He spares your life. Then again, he does try to kill Spiderman with a bomb when he discovers Otto's secret lab, so idk lel
Scorpian shooting that poison from his tail is what weakened spiderman. Before that, he was able to handle the fight successfully. Otto came in only after hearing Spiderman cry like a big baby when Electro shocked spiderman severely.
I like it, but I get where you’re coming from. Like everyone’s got armor and looks awesome and have facial coverings, and electro’s like “HOW YA LIKE MY JACKET?!”
My favourite version of Electro is from Spectacular Spider-Man the series, he has a cool costume and electricity swirling on his face in the shape of a star.
Depends on which Iron Man. 616 Iron Man would probably tease him about getting his ass kicked a bit before taking down S6. MCU is a different story. Though what would really trigger MCU Tony is Superior Spider-Man. I mean, a mad scientist who is also a murderer who tried to fry the planet takes over Spidey's mind and basically claims that he's a better hero and FOR SOME FUCKING REASON NOBODY BUT ONE PERSON NOTICES THE CHANGE even with SM literally killing Massacre, someone he prevented the cops from killing (which is stupid anyway), brutalizing Screwball and her partner (that's going a bit too far for a revenge at being pranked), etc.
People are all talking about the pain in his voice at 1:45 but what really hurts me is the terror in his voice at 2:20 idk why but that scene just made me reallllllyy sad.
Peter is incredibly tough, but for him to have incredible endurance would mean he would have to keep fighting regardless of the pain he feels which he did not demonstrate in this scene, he was grounded after getting stung by Scorpion, which then lead to the vicious beating he received. Endurance is too keep fighting regardless of the pain you experience.
Not only that but Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage AND Iron Fist exist in this universe. So even if the Avengers are busy with something else, those 4 vigilantes would definitely be helping Spiderman since this is all in their neighboorhoods.
One guy is dressed up as a scorpion, another one is dressed up as a rhino, a old dude dressed up as a vulture, one guy is negative, one guy shoots sparkles out of his hands and one has some tentacles. Another normal day in the MARVEL universe.
I literally just played through this scene.. my jaw dropped as soon as I saw the mechanical arm grab Spiderman! At first I actually though Otto was gonna be like a final side quest or something, I never expected he was actually the one planing to make the Sinister six

First is Electro with his Stunning styling suit and his Electric Attack. Second is Rhino also with his bulky greyish armor and his Strength. Third is Vulture with his Jetpack and many capturing equipment. Fourth is Mr. Negative with his Dark Force and Light Force Wave. Fifth is Scorpion with his Paralyze poison on his Armor stings. And Finally Dr. Octopus with his Long Arms like weapons. All of them Know As Sinister Six.
spide-rman is just one of those heroes we want to be overpowered time to time, which we know but he also very balanced too. that's what makes him different and likeable. There's a reason he is the face of marvel comic universe

Goblin being in the sinister six is such lazy writing because although he is arguably spider-man's arch-nemesis and main enemy, the green goblin actually fights other villains as well because he wants absolute control.

The weight of this whole sequence can't be understated. Especially on following playthroughs. Knowing that Otto knows that Pete is Spiderman and still does what he does is an awful feeling. This kind of scene encompasses everything I love about Spiderman as a character. He's a TRUE hero. Even in the face of impossible odds, facing SIX supervillians alone, he doesn't hesitate to take the fight. Because he knows there's no one else who can stop them

This is one of my favorite scenes. The payoff of when Ock finally went bad mixed with the voice acting and the incredible acting on everyone's parts. I wasn't expecting everyone to break out, but all the details you notice new ones every time you watch it. This is one of my absolute favorite video games
in my opinion , best cutscene in the entire game , shows even after being brutally beaten by the six , he still gets up and is determined to fight .

Scorpian shooting that poison from his tail is what weakened spiderman. Before that, he was able to handle the fight successfully. Otto came in only after hearing Spiderman cry like a big baby when Electro shocked spiderman severely.

Rhino's design is my least favorite, plus Tatasciore basically made him sound like Hulk with a bit of a Russian accent.

Peter is incredibly tough, but for him to have incredible endurance would mean he would have to keep fighting regardless of the pain he feels which he did not demonstrate in this scene, he was grounded after getting stung by Scorpion, which then lead to the vicious beating he received.
Endurance is too keep fighting regardless of the pain you experience.
