Well researched and excellently presented. Unbiased and balanced. A great work indeed. Congrats to Mr Harry MacLure and Mr Richard O'Connor and the Team. Your good work for and among the Anglo-Indian Community is highly commendable. God bless you.

This episode was really a lovely blend of music and food with even a wonderful note on the role of mothers. Every episode is rivetting and insightful! Thank you!
I was an Associate Pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Vepery. My church had many wonderful members who were Anglo-Indian. They contributed much to the life of our community. I enjoyed weekly visits and long conversations with the late Mr. Vernon Robson. I had an excellent teacher at the SDA school in the late Mr. Ralph Roberts. I am still good friends with the grandchildren of the Renaux family. Ive been following this series of documentary films. It is heartwarming to see and hear about Anglo Indian life in India and abroad.
Any one watching this who's families resided Behind LIC Building, Mount Road, Madras(Chennai)/near Christ Church School near by, and studied there, during 1950's -1990's many familes resided in near by locality. I had lots of friends living there. Good old memories.
Mmmm... the food ! I remember butter beans in a Bangalore bakery ! and yes our food ! My son ( who is half Greek) LOVES THE FOOD ! the biriyanis, the gulab jamuns.. his wife who is Canadian is just as bad, and so are my 3 young grandsons ! (: (: enjoyed this segment as well. again ... nicely done!
Thank you for this. I discovered on UA-cam by accident… my mother went to St Aloysius and lived on Maddox Street. Like most the family moved to London in early 80s.
😊 Sad the source is broken and future of ANGLO INDIANs unknown.... I'm missing them too much here in Bangalore.... Bangalore is become lonely without them
Thanks for all these episodes on the Anglo indian community based around Madras. Is it possible for you make a video on Anglo's in Mumbai or in Western India? Just like how many Anglo-indians migrated abroad, similarly the Karachi Goans have been migrating abroad in droves considering the political instability in Pakistan. The Anglo-indian cuisine differs from the Goan & Mangalorean Catholic cuisine. For example, Mangaloreans/Goans prepare sannas, pork sorpotel/bafat/indad, which you will not find in the Anglo-indian cuisine.
Now they will be called mixed race. But they look very Indian. The brown genes are dominant. Only clue to their British ancestry is their English names.
richard , one thing we have observed ,the anglo indians of madras ,were not so short tempered ,during our school days . what has so draasticlly changed ,that they are so short tempered . have you also observed this ,richard .
The gentleman told 🚊tram he went with his grandfather 1954 you told it was decommissioned in 1953 originally Tram service was discontinued in 1957 in Chennai pls check your history events

Oscar Nigli another clown😂 Do the board members of ICSE necessarily need to be Anglo Indian?? Stop spinning tales.. ask him to read ICSE board history.

No self reflection or honesty. Unable to talk about realities . Just bragging . Very sad
